Taking a look at the wall writing the wizard states The pictograms tell the story of two monsters fallen from the stars in the aftermath of Earthfall. The bizarre two-tailed, lion-sized quadrupeds with tentacled manes encircling their necks. Eager to unravel the mysteries of the great beyond, an ancient cabal of wizards retrieved and hatched the creatures cocoons for study, imprisoning the creatures in a cage that has long since fallen to pieces. The cultists worshipped the outer gods and performed foul rites, summoning and dismissing the vilest types of otherworldly horrors with the intent of contacting an emissary of the Great Old Ones who would finally disclose the deepest secrets of the Dark Tapestry. These encounters are minutely documented in the Temple of the Beyond’s 20-foot-tall walls, which also predict when certain stars might align with the narrow holes in the ceiling above.
"Uh? Yeah...." Apollyanna says casting her light around.

Omrijka delivers to quick strikes to the beast followed by a bolt of force from the mage. The beast growls again as a he fades into the background.
The group of PC's easily fend off the final skeleton.
Out of Combat
Daeron manages to notice a worn leather strap hanging from one of the Akata mouth. The strap is attached to a belt pouch, which the PCs can extract with ease. Hours spent in the akata’s stomach has destroyed most of the contents, but several parts of a journal are still intact and legible. The entries include poetry and music, as well as mundane day-to-day observations. The last several pages record complaints about the Aspis Consortium’s lack of appreciation for his accomplishments. A folded sheet of paper wedged in the journal bears the title “Potential Partners” and names the Pathfinder Society among other well-known organizations.
Kyra notice a bunch of the cultist tools in the corner.
The dust does not affect other ongoing magical effects.
Dust of disjunction has a curious effect on golems, which also demonstrate anti-magical properties. A golem exposed to this dust must succeed at a DC 17 Fortitude save or be staggered for 1 minute. At the end of its turn, a staggered golem may attempt a new saving throw to end the staggered effect.
And a sheet of beaten gold sheet, written in Aklo
Daeron is able to pick up the tracks approximately 15 feet from a set of buried doors and disappear.
Daeron Woodblood
|
After reading the journal, Daeron says.
If I remember well, both Aspis agent were complaining about their bosses. With this new information, it's clear that they want change.
May be rather than trying to kill them, we could try to recrut them ?
It will be a good catch ! Don't you think?
Perception: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 2 = 20
While following the tracks, the elf looks around where they disapeared.
Look! Seems like tunnels under the floor!
| GM Z..D.. |
With the new information the party has three options to choose from. They can go back the way they came and go around the mountain and hopefully pick the trail back up. You could remove the rubble from the door way and go from there. Finally, you could break through the floor and into the tunnels...
| GM Z..D.. |
Backtracking you know will take alot of time. Clearing rubble will be less. However, smashing through the floor would be less effort than the rubble
Daeron Woodblood
|
Daeron says I don't think it's a good idea to go back. We have two real choices. Get through the rubble by clearing it but it could take time or smashing through the floor with the risk of loosing ourselve in the tunnels.
Apollyanna Lapin Sukino
|
What is with all the mythic attacks?
We're mythic. That's what we do.
"Well that was disappointing. How can you tell there are tunnels underneath us? Is that one of your super powers? Tunnel vision?"
Apollyanna is fine going through the floor, but someone's going to have to explain how that is even a viable thing first.
Apollyanna Lapin Sukino
|
"So it's not a super power." Apollyanna looks sulky.
