...And in the last days, the sleep of a thousand years shall end when the herald appears, blotting out the sun in all its awesome glory. Its shuddering bulk shall sound the trumpets of destiny, those clarion calls to bring forth He Who Waits, the Dark God, the Wrongly Held. The 333 jewels that contain the dread master shall shatter, and the world shall tremble, wailing and clawing, begging their petty gods for escape from the wondrous return of the Unraveler, whose appearance shall set to right all wrongs, restore all balance, and reduce the abomination of creation to its primal, primitive state. Rejoice, for the end is at hand...
The words have haunted you and your friends since the first time you read them. At first you thought nothing of them...But than the sign appeared a fiery glyph burning bright in Oerth's sky.
Each day it grew. Certain magic became harder, and harder to use. The devout have all but lost communication with their gods.
It wasn't until you discovered the gems of Tharzidun that you found it was all tied to the Elder Elemental Eye. The gems are a key to his release, and the destruction of the world. With the help of the Circle of Eight you have found, or destroyed 45 of the gems.
The air is stale and the room is dark. Atleast it seems nothing has changed since you last left this room...
The Friends of the Wandering entered this ancient place in search of finding one of the gem. Mordenkainen, close friend and benefactor, supplied information that a gem was found, in the Castle Perilous, on the plane of shadow. He also suggested the use of an old, hidden gate, "The path will be shorter using it, and should be safer aswell."
The "Friends" found out soon that while the gate in conjuction with a Shadow Walk spell bought them in spitting distance of the castle. It was by no means safer. Almost losing Tarlan to shadow beasts, they found safety for a short time in the castle walls. Tarlan though was tainted by shadow-stuff. At first it was nothing, but soon his skin color changed to that of obsidian and his eyes became dark pools.
After finding the gem and battling back the horrors of the Castle Perilous the group finds itself back.
The room is pitch black, except for those of you with darkvision.

Raizen |

For Lazaro
Raizen's eyes adjust to the darkness and see the world in black and white. The precious cargo hidden in his bag makes him more anxious than usual. He positions himself at a point where he can lob spells to any point in the room.

Tarlan |

perception roll
Tarlan kisses the ground after making sure he doesn't see anything coming at him.
Tarlan then takes a sip from his flask.
"Ok, now what?"

"Now we find Mordenkaiden. See if he knows where any more of those orbs are."
Kelgan then rests his hand on the haft of his great-axe, preparing to unsheathe it.

Tarlan |

Tarlan goes into the Dance of the Spider stance attempts to hide on the left side of the entrance into the room about 10' high on the wall. assuming the wall is that high... will go as high up as able but not more than 10'.
attempted stealth (hide in plain sight) (1d20 53=63)
Tarlan is feeling a little on edge.

The sound of breathing brings the party to arms. Assuming one of his many stances, Tarlan scurries quietly up the wall and begins looking for signs danger.
Raizen
With your blindsense you can feel movement of multiple targets about 25-30 feet to your Southeast.

Moving one space to the south. Stealth: 1d20=14
EDIT: Forgot an additional +23 on initial perception check. Do I see the spoiler?

Tarlan
You peer into the next room and see two rooms. In the doorway of the first room you see a short humanoid figure standing in heavy stone-looking armor.
The sound of clanking armor coming from your room attracts the attention of the creature. It turns; The monster looks elflike except for the oversized teeth filling it's mouth, and the pale gray skin scarred with runes and the spiraling symbol of Tharzidun.
"INTRUDERS", it shouts in a dry, rasping voice.
Tarlan, the creatures have yet to notice you. You've got a surprise round. Please roll initiative aswell please.

Jahangir |

Jahangir whispers a command animating his shield and moves to square behind Tarlan. An unusual homecoming the paladin thinks to himself. Jahangir attempts to stretch his senses outward detecting for the foul presence of the enemy detect evil

"Away from the targets." Raizen points to the SW. "They're coming from that direction." He points to the SE wall.
More music! Who's on guitars? Tarlan has volunteered to handle the drums.
Raizen wipes his forehead, "I'm getting old... I need something I can rely on."

Tarlan |

Do I know that these are bad guys because of the markings?
Initiative (1d20 11=14)
If they are bad guys I make a 15' move East.
Tarlan moves to cover the entry way.
I will attack the first bad guy coming through the entryway.
Attacking (1d20 30=41, 1d20 30=39)
ARG! I need to drive home now. Be back in about 2 hours unless traffic really sucks.

Oooops. I misread that. Instead of his posted move, Fragos stays right in his initial position.

Kelgan the Strong |

Initiative: 1d20+3=15
Assuming that we are attacked by something hostile, Kelgan will delay until after Raizen, then will move to attack the enemys. If within 30 feet, I will use Overhand Chop. If not, I will move into melee range, if possible.
Also, I call dibs on guitar. :)

Tarlan |

Map of my move
I'm still on the wall.
Please let me know if they are evil, outsider, undead, aberration, or monstrous humanoid. That will effect my above attack roll.

Gah, blast the low rolls.
Tarlan moves slowly across the walls. He searches the depths of his mind trying to figure just what the creatures are, and what there weak points may be. But with no luck.
Moving to your currnet spot gave you a -5 penality to your stealth. But still they have yet to see you. Do you still want to take the attack action you posted earlier?

Jahangir |

Raizen |

On my turn
Knowledge (arcane) (1d20+28=37)
Raizen hears the angry shouts of "Intruders!" and "For Tharizdun!" He wills his wings to appear and moves swiftly to where Tarlan is. Seeing the enemy, Raizen wastes no time to fling a fireball into their midst.
Using a 7th level slot to cast a quickened fireball centered to cover all of the enemy; probably those inside room 1; Consider Raizen hovering besides Tarlan.
"Karyuudan" Translates to Fire Dragon Projectile.

Kutho Axefist |

Tarlan |

Do you still want to take the attack action you posted earlier?
Yeah, I will attack the first baddie that comes into my range. (10')
I was asking the other question about evil and type because of my holy and bane weapon abilities, not for character knowledge. If they go off when I hit, I will know in character then.
