Tarlan Rane appears to be 5'9" human male with a wiry build. Brown hair, brown eyes and smile that causes trouble. He prefers humans to his own kind but only because he has been around them more than his own race. He has only met one other changeling since leaving home and it doesn't bother him.
Tarlan decided to become an adventurer and seek his glory and fame right after his father kicked him out of the house. He tried his hand in many different trades but he dreamed of doing something that would be in a bard's song or in a tale told to children. After several years of doing many nothings he found a teacher that saw his potential. When he left he was full of confidence. He saw and did many things, the fame and glory were not always there. Tarlan loves what he does though. His current group has been the most fun and dangerous so far. He is fascinated on how he was transformed by his recent visit to the plane of Shadow.
