My personal favorites:
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Growing Up Creepie
Spongebob Squarepants (my kids got me hooked on this show--I absolutely love it and never miss an episode)
What are yours?
(hey, we're all nerd-geeks here, and if that's not enough, you can always argue it's OK to watch toons because you either have kids or you might one day have kids)

I don't see nearly as many cartoons as I used to. Sad really. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is very cool, but for some reason creeps out the kid so no can watch. He's really into Speed Racer TNG. It's actually pretty good. His other favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward is such awful drek I will manufacture bogus reasons to be out of the room while he is watching it. Blech. I'm quite fond of Jane and the Dragon. And the Backyardigans. Backyardigans rock.

I don't have a T.V. anymore, so I don't get to watch as many cartoons as I used too. We can get the Sunday night Fox lineup, usually, so Family Guy/American Dad/Simpsons after work on Monday is a nice way to wind down.
I LOVE The Misadventures of Flapjack so much I'm considering getting cable again. Chowder is cool, too, I love the animation style.
Metalocolypse makes my face melt off.

Korgoth of Barbaria Only ever had a pilot, but that doesn't take from it's awesomeness.
Venture Bros.
Harvey Birdman
Family Guy
Chowder

Korgoth of Barbaria
Loved the use of d12s in the bar scene. However, I prefer Dave The Barbarian. Bajabbers.

I'm so sad today...Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, my favorite cartoon ever, is over.
A perfect 6 seasons :-(

I am going to have to say Star Wars: Clone Wars, Backyardigans, and Batman: The Brave and The Bold. I love introducing my kids to lesser known DC heroes like Blue Beetle and Plastic Man by having them interact with a hero they already know, like Batman.
I also like Phineas and Ferb.

Shadowborn |

I have to add Wolverine and the X-Men. It's a definite improvement over the X-Men cartoon of the 90s--better dialogue (was I the only one who cringed whenever they gave Storm a line in that one?) and a coherent, on-running storyline, like you'd get in an actual comic-- and it's been pretty fun so far.

I like Wolverine and the X-men, but it suffers from the typical problem with Wolverine.
"His powers include healing and cutting things into Shish-kebab with those freaky claws of his.* How do we show this on a cartoon?"
*bonus geek points if you get the reference.
Batman tBatB suffers from two things.
1) I don't like the animation.
2) Still can't get over having Oswald as Batman.

Clumsy might not be the best word. Bulky would be better, particularly when you are rolling hundreds of d10s. ;)

Ah, I understand. In that case, I completely agree.
