Shazza the She-Orc Barbarian:

Standing about 6 1/2 feet tall, with ash-grey skin and thick hair the color of dried blood hanging down her back, this Barbarian She-Orc is clad in a few small pelts of dark fur and bone necklace. Her arms and legs are mostly bare, long and muscular, and there are winding tribal tattoos along the entire left side of her body, from her ankle to the base of her neck and down the length of her arm. She carries a short, wickedly barbed iron spear, and a leather thong around her neck holds a short, curved obsidian knife between her breasts. There is a small white line above her right eye and a visibly square scar about the size of a coin, slightly above her navel.

Or, as the DM put it: "Imagine a grey She-Hulk in the Stone Age." I elaborated a bit.

Amiri FTW!

I'll have another go at this one in hope of catching someones attention for something non-fantasy.

Maxwell "Jungle Max" Thompson.
A pulp-hero from the 1930ies. A huge, simple mans man with an equally huge elephant-hunting rifle. Always in the company of his capuchin monkey Churchill. Max is a borderline anti-hero with a penchant for the direct approach for problem solving. More at easy in the company of rude, violent and drunk dockworkers than really civilized people. Think of a more macho, and much less educated, version of Indiana Jones.. safari style.

Will be more than glad to offer a more precise physical description of him if anyone show an interest in him.

I'm having more time lately, I'll give it a go...give me a full description please.

Great! Thanks for having a look at Max... I've been aching for a drawing of him for a few years now... but unfortunately lack the skills to do one myself. Here you go with some additional information.

Physique:
Max is a tall and wide man caucassian man. His build could be somewhat compared to Captain Quark (from Ratchet and Clank) http://www.freewebs.com/ratcheddeadlocked/qwark.jpg albeit ofcourse in a less comical manner. Strong arms (for fighting anything from dock workers to gorillas) flank his body. His facial features are angular and rough. A wide jaw (likely with stubble) and a no-nonsense expression makes Max someone that intimidating in his appearance. His blonde hair is kept short and out of the way.
As mentioned in the previous post. Imagine a very macho version of Indiana Jones (or more fittingly: Allan Quartermain).

Dress:
A safari-style hat on his head (something like this: http://walkaboutdownunder.com.au/images/T/hat-ak-coolabah-st-Khaki.jpg). A half-open and short-sleeved dirty-white shirt and a leather vest (elephant hide if we want to go into details) and long darkish undescript pants. He usually wears a necklace of aztec/incan coins around his neck (square/triangular.. something like that) as a reminder of his dream og finding one of the fabled cities of gold. Max often comes well-armed, his usual being a huge rifle for elephant-hunting, two large (and heavy revolvers) and a machete hanging from a strip of leather.

Companion (would be a nice touch... but obviously not a "must have"):
Churchill the capuchin monkey (http://www.1-costaricalink.com/costa_rica_fauna/wildlife_images/white_face d_capuchin_monkey.jpg) always follows Max around. Churchill wears a small leather vest (like Max) and is very intelligent.

If you need anything else please let me know.

How about a lizardfolk that looks more like a humanoid descendant of a tyrannosaur?

Make it a tracker (possibly with levels in druid or ranger) and keep it as primal and lightly clothed and unencumbered as possible.

Great Description, All I need now is time. This is a great commission for me, I love pulp, I might try to make it look a bit art deco also.

That sounds really great. If you need anything just let me know.
Pulp is a great genre, as is Art Deco so that makes everything even better.
Looking forward to seeing whatever you whip up.

Totally understandable. Crap happens, and there are plenty of things far more important then a character illustration in this world. No worries man.

As for the drawing, it's great, but the barrel of ale is a bit much. He's more of a liquor drinker and keeps a flask for it. Also, though he's strong, I always saw him more in a wiry way. The scowl on his face is perfect though. He's pretty bitter for a chaotic good character, and that communicated it perfectly.

Thanks!

We'll see if this gets picked for a go.....
Girruth Stormhammer
A dwarf barbarian wearing scale armor and carrying a large shield and a waraxe.
Gir is tall for a dwarf, around 5'6", and heavily muscled appearing almost as wide as he is tall. His beard is close cut and his head is shaved. He is heavily tattooed with various dwarven runes on both arms and up the sides of his neck to his jawline. He has a faded scar running across his face from the top of his head, across his right eye, and over his nose to the left corner of his mouth. Numerous scars on his forearms, some partially covered by tattoos and some cutting through other tattoos. Loose pants and heavy boots with steel covered toes cover his lower body. His arms are bare with the exception of a pair of heavily engraved metal bracers and he is wearing a thick golden ring on his left hand engraved with elven script.

No love for them was kind of the point of that movie, come to think of it.

Ok, I put up a quick sketch of the hobgoblin character to see if I could get a pose down. This is not the finished product, but I'd like KC to comment on the pose itself or the outfit to see what he'd like different. Please. Whenever you have time.

Okay, it's been a little while now. Not that I mind the delay, but the character has changed. Of course, if you've already started, you can disregard this, but here's a bit more information:

Spoiler:
Drahdic was generally tolerated in the hobgoblin village only because he left everybody alone...supposedly. But he was a magic user, and it was only a matter of time.
A few months before his banishment, goblins and hobgoblin children started vanishing from the village. At first, nobody was certain as to the causes. However, at one point, the village was attacked late at night by nightmarish creatures, hideously deformed. They were recognized to be the missing goblins and children. They caused terrible destruction everywhere, but they were eventually defeated. Some escaped, and fled, and the furious hobgoblins chased them--back to Drahdic's hut.
The alchemist managed to escape the mob, and fled to the non-hobgoblin communities. On his travels, he met a traelling merchant, who had an odd monkey, a Tarsier, for sale. The thing interested Drahdic, so he bought it and made it his familiar. The animal's name was Fig, after the food the merchant thought he liked (in fact, it was very unhealthy for Fig, but the merchant was an idiot).
Eventually, Drahdic went to Sandpoint, where he promptly got caught in a goblin attack. He joined forced (temporarily, he thought) with a pair of elves to survive the experience. However, they would not leave him alone. He kept getting trapped in adventures with them.
Recently, they fought a dangerous quasit, and due to a few mistakes, Fig was slain while he lay unconscious. This has led him to abandon magic and turn to science alone.

Appearance-wise, not much has changed. He is a mad scientist, and has slightly greenish-yellowish skin. He's also pretty mad these days.
Again, thanks, and no pressure. Take your time.

I would like to commission one of the outstanding artists here. I'm quite flexible as far as costs go, but if you would like to discuss it in an email, feel free (magikarp23@hotmail.com). I typically would like to see examples of an artist's work before agreeing to anything, however. I did have a question: Are you folks dealing with things exclusively Pathfinder-related, or are any of you all open for something with a bit of a twist? I'm currently working on a Homebrew Campaign, and I'm looking to commission a few artists for some inspirational artwork. Let me know, eh?

Any word on cheesecake?

yep, NY style is the best cheesecake around......:)

Nice topic! There goes some requests for you guys.

Some requests for my group, by now those are just 3 characters and 1 item, but i might come with other things in the future.

So there we go. I'm DMing in the Forgotten Realms setting as it was in the 3e but i'm using Pathfinder RPG. The campaign takes place in the North Sword Coast Region.

Calisto
Human, CG Barbarian 5

Background: Calisto is a Uthgardt Barbarian of the Sky Pony Tribe. After the last heir of his tribe's chief died, leaving the elderly and sick chief without heirs, many man from his tribe began to travel the north trying to prove them selves worth the throne by virtue of their actions. Calisto is one of those man. He searchs for a Sky Pony (Pegasus), a symbol of rulership that he things would make him heir. He also searchs for the mercenary troll that killed his father.
Physical Appearance: He is a huge brawny folk, with a clean face and long black hair which he braids in many small braids. He is always wearing his elven chainmail but covers himself in furs to resist the cold nights of the north, he also uses a cloak made of polar bear fur.
His weapon of choice is the greatsword, but he also carries a battle axe and a magic wood shield that shots wood spikes when a power word is shouted

Garu
Human, NG Druid of Mielliki 5

Background: Garu is a mysterious and silent druid, Calisto is one of his few friends as they met each other when Garu was sent as a druidic emissary to his tribe. He is an orphan, raised by the Master of his Druid Grove, a powerful Bauriaur druid named Hukan. Unknown to him he is one of the last of the lost corrupted tribe of the Blue Bears and is pursued by the corrupted Blue Bear totem that posses as a friendly spirit.
Physical Appearance: He also has long black hair and a clean face but ethinically he looks more like a native american. He dresses in furs and skins, specially in grey (bear, wolf) and/or redish-brown (fox, wolf). He uses a necklace with many kinds of seeds, acorns and other things found in nature that he finds beatiful. He also wears a earring with a feather (only in one ear). He recently adquired boots of the Elvenkind

Midalin
Sun Elf, CG Wizard (Invoker) 5

Background: Midalin is a elven researcher from Evermeet, he was sent to the north to search for a powerful magical tome that was lost during the wars bettwen the ancient elvish kindgoms.
Physical Appearance: Like most sun elfs he has long blond, almost golden, hair that is tied in one braid, white, slighly bronze complexion and is a little taller than a normal human, but has a slender build. Some might say that his kind looks a little otherworldy, because they are the more “pure-blooded” elves.
He also dresses in greenish colors. His arcane bond is to an amulet shaped like a 8-pointed star (which i'm also requesting separated)

[b]Blue Bear Totem[b]

That's the corrupted spirit that pursues Garu. He was once the good totem of the Blue Bear Tribe but was absorbed by Malar, the god of rage, bloodthirsty and licantropy. Now with his tribe scattered and defeated he tries to corrupt Garu to reforge his tribe.

My outstanding (and by that I mean "not done yet," because they're certainly not any good) commissions have been and will be put on a short hiatus. I've been experimenting with digital coloring and digital painting, and want to make sure I have those down before I use them in works for other people. Chances are, the next few works you'll see (if you're in the business of actually paying attention to the s*@# I upload) will be personal works done mostly for practice. Finished commissions will come after that.

My commission status:
- Wayfinder #2 artwork - DONE
- Shazza, orc barbarian - working on linework
- Karish, hellbred binder - up next

Personal works in progress:
- Lonnie Firefly, from Patrick Curtin's Gamma World game - in progress
- Re-coloring of Vilya the Taker (linework by Hugo Solis) - DONE
- "Anatomy of a SCAD Student" - up next
