Way easier. After having problems with this in RotRL and CotCT, my group will no longer consider playing an AP until all issues are in hand. So, little to no commentary for another 4 months.
That said, unless it's significantly different from its summary I don't think we can play SD as written; to us it seems to have severe problems with PC and player motivation. Maybe it can be adapted in some way to work. But trying to adapt something we've only got 1/6 of in hand definitely sounds like a bad idea.

[exasperation] It's late at night in the US, and the esteemed managing editor simply appears to have left the smiley emoticons (or other appropriate indications) out of his post to indicate that it's humorous; perfectly understandable. Now if you can't find any real witches or warlocks for me to try, go find some apple scrumpers, instead. [/exasperation]
(Apologies for the threadjack; I trust that numerous fell drow sorcerers, witches, and warlocks are due to get their richly deserved comeuppance in the Second Darkness campaign, details of which you are currently issuing.)

Same here, man I miss those days! Maybe when the kids get older and don't want to stay around us anymore we'll rev it up again ...
While I miss those days too, my daughter has taken an interest in the game. So I've started a little weekly game with my wife and daughter. My wife sees it as additional family time, and it is really interesting to see how an 11 year old reacts to situations.
So don't overlook the kids as future players.

Oh yeah! My 7 years old son is about to start a simplified home-brewed version of D0 I'll be DMing for him and another 7 years old friend and his dad (one of my regular players). I'm real curious how that'll turn out.
