So, I have a family of NPCs who were casualties in the wreck. The children were identical twins!! I want Olangu to use them in some terrifying, creepy taunt of the PCs, but, as I’ve said previously, I’m not Evil Genius enough. The identical twins thing is too good not to do some kind of homage to Demagorgon, right? I just don’t’ know what? You all are so smart and helpful, I’d be crazy not to ask for your advise. Any ideas?

For some obscure reason, each of the children ended up touched by the taint of Demogorgon. One is connected, on an extremely tenuous level, with each of the heads. The only evidence of it is that the children have become sullen and angry after the wreck, and mutter nonsense words in their sleep in Abyssal, but don't have any idea what they were dreaming about only that they wake up filled with rage and wanting to kill each other, clawing and biting and attempting to throttle one another. Their harried parents have to make them sleep apart, as they wake up at each others throats!
Some sort of restoration spell or any exorcism type effect (this would be a perfect place to use the 'Other Uses for Positive or Negartive Energy' suggestion on PHB p. 160! Set a HD and a successful Turn attempt will 'drive the darkness' out of the children, but each must be cleansed seperately) will purge this taint from them, but if it isn't purged, the dreams and rages will get worse, and, eventually, one of the children will kill the other. The survivor will likely grow up to become a Thrall of Demogorgon.

Or they could be used as the creepy welcoming zombie that big bad monkey man put up.
Ah, yes. I like that. I think the parents will be on the inverted cross, and the two-head kid will be "torturing" them. Or eating them? Something like that. Thanks so much. You people are so warped! I love you all!!

Don't just sow the one head on the other body, do something like head, left should and part of left side of torso sowed onto the other body that lost the left shoulder. It wouldn't mesh well, but that'd be the point. Attach one arm (from the elbow down) to the other elbow so that there is two forearms coming off the one elbow.
It doesn't have to help with combat, it just looks creepy. Maybe the body has two left legs, stuff like that.

Oh, that's really good. I could even do a really creepy photo-manipulation as an illustration. I think I will. I think I will!! Plus, this is great foreshadowing for the big bad a the end. Thanks SO much!!
Don’t forget to read our blog to see how it all turns out (It’ll probably be about a month before we get to this particular point).

Yep, two-headed, one-bodied twins riding a terror bird and using their parents' guts as a bridle ... and they tried to say D&D was bad for the soul.
Nah, nothing worse than I’ve already seen in horror films, and even some TV shows these days.
What has been is what will be,
and what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new under the sun.
