Liberty's Edge

Are there any flumph avatars I can use? I couldn't find any on the list.

You'll get one as soon as Courtfool gets his llama option most likely...

Ouch.

The Exchange RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16

As the avatars are drawn from product art, I think we've demonstrated a need for a module with illustrations of battles with dire llamas and flumphs.

I am all tingly just thinking about it.

Scarab Sages

I've always said there weren't enough Flumph-themed adventures! this is the excuse we've needed. bring back the Flumphs!

TMI.

Oh you know you are tingly too. Or are you just buffing out the dents again?

That would be pretty cool. Paizo would be about the only outfit that I think could not only write it up, but have it make absolute sense and kick ass.

A little of column A, a little of column B...

Liberty's Edge

Heh. I halfway expected to find five guys with flumph avatars in here mocking me for being blind. I guess there isn't flumph avatar... yet.

I think we'll be seeing the flumph in an adventure at some point. I wouldn't be surprised if the events and tribulations of the past two years haven't given the Paizo crew a good understanding and appreciation of the humble flumph and what it has come to symbolize.

I think we'll see a flumph avatar too. If they can create an avatar such as that overly smug fish they can certainly give us a flumph.

Sam

I don't think flumphs are under OGL, so I wouldn't hold my breath seeing new adventures from Paizo with them.

Though there is that Dungeon adventure from a while ago, Box of Flumph, with some avatar possibilities...

Flumph.... That's a breed of llama, right?

Its just as ugly and nasty

So much for the truce.

hehehe sorry... can't help it!

CourtFool wrote:

I'll make up for that. I'll make you some official truce "documents". I'll let you know when ready

Hey! I don't want to make me a nasty reputation since the begining! Don't fan the flames!

You can find the flumph, along with many other first edition Fiend Folio monsters, in Tome of Horrors by Necromancer Games. So yes, it's OGL just like the tentamort used in Burnt Offerings.

Um, yeah... Close, other then being classified in different Phyla.

So, what is the procedure for requesting an avatar anyway?

Now that's not fair to the llama. The flumph is much uglier but nowhere near as nasty.

Ignore CJ. He is just an enfant provocateur.

Really? Cool, now we can start pestering Erik&co about flumphs in Golarion...

Well, that's kind of what's happening here. ;)

I don't think anyone will have to pester too hard. I have the feeling that the Paizo folks already get it.

Hehe...We need to start a new post classifying all the posters on this board with each relevent definition.

I fit several of those. Maybe I should add that to my profile.

I did as well, which is probably a bad idea to admit.

Hehehe, I was aiming tha sneak attack at his avatar, the were-poodle llama

The first step to solving a problem is to admit there is one.

Sovereign Court

I admit I have a poodle problem.
There.
Did they go away?

I have a smurf problem, but every time I admit it, it gets worse!

One of those instant gratification people, huh?

*walks in and looks around* This seems to be a worth thread to bring back to life with the power of Medical SCIENCE!

Now son, you just have to be patient. It takes time to do things right. Just give them time.

Of course, if they don't hurry up, we will infiltrate their offices and start all kinds of mischief, starting with releasing the prisoners in the basement (or at least infecting their computers).

Sovereign Court

There was an old April issue of Dragon that had tons of Flumph in it, and piles of small pictures that would make awesome Flumph avatars if those were somehow usable.

Little Flumphs doing all kinds of crazy things (ice skating, etc.)

Shadow Lodge

I liked the "flumph disguised as a pancake" picture from that issue.

On a serious note: We (though, I should say "I") are not making any new avatars from Dungeon or Dragon.

I'm sorry little Flumphs.

There is still "Misfit Monsters"

AWWWWWW :`(

Shadow Lodge

that just means we won't see iceskating flumph avs.

Silver Crusade

Surely that should be Flumphatar

Sovereign Court

Those pictures would still make for excellent avatars in other places then. Wouldn't expect you to go comb through old Dragons just to add that personally. :)

Silver Crusade

I agree.
