I just saw this post and thought I'd pop over to the OOC and IC threads and take a look. Are you still looking for new players? If so, what races, classes and sourcebooks are you allowing? I've got a couple characters lying around here that I rolled up as spares but I've never had the chance to play yet. They were originally rolled up as 5th level, but I can easily downgrade them to 1st level. One is a non-PHB race and class, and one is a standard PHB race and class. I'll make up aliases for each, which I should have posted by tomorrow, so just take a look at them under my profile page, and let me know if either of them might suit your campaign. I've never actually played PbP before, but I've been wanting to try it on for size for some time now.

Okay, Namaste is up, just check my aliases. I have a pretty detailed description and background for her. The alias that is up is a 1st Level Kalashtar Psion, but if Rumblefish isn't interested in that character, I can easily bump her to 5th level for the other campaign (HeroForge is great for things like that). I'll have a Paladin character, and maybe something else (in case neither of you allow Psionics or characters from the Eberron setting) up a little later. In fact, I'll probably go ahead and create 1st and 5th level versions of each, so you can both decide if you like one or the other (but I'll only Namaste in one game, and the Paladin or whatever in the other, to avoid confusion).

Are you referring to the Valgrymr's Homebrew game? I'll have to make a few adjustments to Namaste to make her level to your game, but I can get that up later this afternoon. I've just been dying to play a psion for the longest time, but finding a GM that allows psionics is like pulling teeth sometimes! One question - magic items, are they allowed at startup? If so, do you have preference for how they are obtained (purchased by PC guidelines in DMG, randomly rolled by NPC guidelines in DMG, or just a couple items randomly picked within reason)?
follow the guidelines in the discussion thread; most of your answers will be there; I treat psions like magic for rules; magic items depend a lot on what continent you are on and race for availability; also; your charisma and how well the people of influence in your life got along with you; things like that for special items; general items that are available are not so much an issue; but there are areas that have no magic available.

Okay, I'll throw one up later this evening. I've already put a lot of work into revamping Namaste for the higher level campaign (let's face it, psions suck as bad as wizards at 1st level). Once I have her done, I'll just post here with that alias so you can look it over.
Awesome. Once you have the character approved, look into the OOC Thread, and I will have the background basics of your character.
Well, here she is. I gave her a little bit of a back story, just to get her from her homeland to, well, somewhere NOT her homeland (I'll let you decide where that is), and you can guide her in from there. If there are any aspects of her backstory that you want to reject or alter, just let me know. I forgot to add her equipment, other than weapons and armor, but she's equipped with standard adventurer's fare - backpack, rope, waterskin, etcetera, etcetera and so forth.
