Yeah...how will we be able to tell when Rone is holding the sign up. <stifle, stifle>

So my plan is working is what you mean.
Plan? What is this "plan" you speak of?

I'm just waiting for the next Atomic Array, wherein Rone and Ed will unveil their new technology to let the audience (and maybe the guests) know when they are joking.

Perhaps I should have a sad sounding little theme song for worst attempts at humor. ;)

Failure looks even worse on a videocast, so you guys are just going to have to keep guessing.

But at least we can laugh at it.

And Jade in case you and Ed have never looked at it. Radio Spirits has some very interesting old time radio shows including some with the caped crusader and old time comedy shows. Not that you need help or anything but it may give you guys some ideas.

That is the EXACT riff and instrument I was thinking of. Wow.

Funny you should post that. That said, I don't think I'm allowed to say anything else. Drat. I hate NDAs.

Great link, CJ. Thanks. :)

Aw...that came out sounding sad. You're going to have to put a smiley by it so I know when you are evincing emotion. <snort, gurgle>

Spoiler:
The truth is, I love such reveals. If you edited out everything that lets your listeners really pick up on who you guys are, and who some of your guests are, the show and its fans would be the poorer for it.

** spoiler omitted **

You're right... my sentiment was meant to come across humorously and instead it didn't because ONCE AGAIN I DID NOT PROVIDE A SIGN EXPLAINING THAT HUMOR WAS HAPPENING!

LOL

And I agree completely with your spoiler. The easter egg on tomorrow's show promises to show me at my barest... I lost my MIND on some squirrels and it happened while the show was taping. It's embarrassing because you can hear how traumatized I am by the experience. I can't get back into the rhythm for a minute. It's a tiny psychic train wreck.

Show time tomorrow? Yay!

Quite right, CJ. Sincerely sorry about that. I'm no fan of being on the receiving end of leading vagueness either. The inference might be that I was working on something very much like what you sent me to, yet I can't talk about it because other people's money is involved. Or not... you never know with me. I can be wascawwy.

I think I like your show but I'll have to see later if I'm feeling somewhat positive about whether I'm mostly sure about that or not.

You might think that the Jade is working on something very much like what you sent him to. You might very well think so, but he couldn't possibly comment.

Would you like to do some voice over work for Moonstew? I'm good with voice actor direction and we could build you up a nice resume. A few more recordings for my own reel and I'll start trying out for Saturday morning cartoons, man.

I dunno, if SpongeBob or Bugs Bunny started talking like Steve Buscemi I'd be a little freaked out.

I sure did say something, Jack. I said…

Episode 39 of Atomic Array fought its way past countless foes to make it to your eardrums.

Want to change genres, or just throw a curve-ball at your setting, but don’t want to throw everything out and start from scratch? Ever wonder how your necromancer would hold up in a cyberpunk world, or in a hard sci-fi setting? Savage Suzerain and the Savage Suzerain Player’s Guide may be what you’re looking for. Based on the original Suzerain game, this version is for Savage Worlds. It’s fast, furious and fun!

We asked Zach Welhouse and Alan Neil Bundock, from Savage Mojo to join us and talk about this great game.

Product previews for both books

The Suzerain Wiki is very detailed, with more information than we could possibly fit in this interview. Highly recommended.

See, why do they come out on Fridays? I listen to them on my iPod at work, so the earliest I'll hear it is on Monday. :(

No thats great. I really do think you should check them out. I understand about NDA I had/have one with a great game designer once.

I'm not rightly sure, CH. Monday is probably a better release day but that would have me scrambling over the weekends to get the show ready by Sunday night. I does love my weekends I does.

oh? You don't think I have ever play tested a great game that never was put into production because the designer passed away.

Very sad actually.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

I loved the opening theme to this episode, and the set up to get to the theme. Suzerain sounds like a lot of fun, and your guests seemed fun and energetic.

Rone, your rant reminded me of the time I moved to Maine in 4th grade. As a military brat, I got to move around to a bunch of different places, and 4th grade was the first time I felt the need to "fit it". So, using my grandparents, who lived 30 minutes away, as an example, I came to school the first day with my atrocious New England accent. The kids at school looked at me like I sprouted eyestalks, but I learned a valuable lesson that day.

I like your contest idea for episode 40, but who's going to sponsor all that?

Is that the sentence you thought I was talking about investigating? Because I'm pretty sure I meant the one about how I should check out radio plays you recommended to me. ;)

Rone is your friend. Trust the Rone.

Been there, bro... been there. I visited Florida for but a week when I was eight and had a poor mock at the ready... couldn't stop using it. Living in Boston that same year I went to camp and came back pokking cohs. I can't help myself. And then there was the time I met Steve Buscemi out in Long Island, and well, Callous Jack will tell you what happened there. <G>

No... but Jack likes to wound with words and he forces me to honor him or he promises to strike again. He once gave me a birthday cake that read, in frosting letters, I Only Laugh When You Weep.

ALTHOUGH... back when my friend Pat was about 20, he was Steve Buscemi's mother's landlord out in Long Island, and before Steve was ever in Reservior Dogs (though he'd acted in smaller parts) he called Pat up on her behalf loudly beetching about how the cable TV wouldn't work and demanding it be restored. Despite being a natural muscleman, Pat is a gentle and patient personality, and he dutifully went over there to check out the problem without responding to the aggressive stance.

Lil Steve was there puffing out his chest and being bossy. Pat went in and said, "Hey, you kicked it out right here." He reconnected the cable and left.

I asked if Steve apologized and Pat said the guy went too far the other way to find an apology, probably due to humiliation, but that he suddenly got very quiet and thankful.
