[Synergy] Craft (weapons) and Damage reduction type

If you have 5 ranks in the Craft (Weaponsmithing or Bowmaking) skill or the Create Magic Arms feat, you get a +2 bonus on checks related to identifying a creature's damage reduction or energy resistance and means to overcome it.


Count me in. I'd like Profession (miner) skill to give a bonus to defeat a stone golem's DR as well.

Unfortunately for your suggestion, Pathfinder has done away with synergy bonuses.

I think that's the point. You won't find them anywhere. They're just gone. I don't know if Jason has come out and said it, but none of the new skills reference synergy and there was a lot of talk in the Alpha1 forums about how getting rid of synergy would vastly simplify calculating skill ranks.

However, I'm always happy to plug my suggestion for a new kind of synergy bonus, one that works more like Aid Another and is situational rather than getting added into you ranks. It's the second post in this thread ;)
