Vancaskerkin?

In PFAP#1, we have a Riddleport mercenary by the name of Orik Vancaskerkin. In PFAP#7, we have a renegade Karvosan Guard by the name of Verik Vancaskerkin.

What gives? A common name? Are they meant to be related? Authors just like the name and use it alot? Inside joke/Easter Egg of some type?

They're related. Verik's brother Orik is mentioned in his backstory in PF 7.
