Agreed. Many previous "fighter" feats no longer have that Special: designation.
Combat Expertise
Far Shot
Improved Bull Rush
Improved Disarm
Improved Grapple
Improved Overrun
Improved Sunder
Improved Trip
Power Attack
All of these are available to fighters in 3.5 as bonus "fighter" feats. By a strict playtest of Alpha 1.1 this is no longer the case. Is this intentional or an oversight?
My Fighter 1 wanted to take Power Attack for his Fighter Feat but had to take something else.

Bonus Feats: At 1st level, and at every even level
thereafter, a fighter gains a bonus feat in addition to
those gained from normal advancement (meaning that
the fighter gains a feat at every level). These bonus feats
must be selected from either fighter bonus feats or combat
feats (found in the Feats chapter).

The following general feats
replace those found in the 3.5 rules set. Unless otherwise
noted, feats not listed here are unchanged.

Combat Feats
Combat feats represent various maneuvers and tricks that
characters can attempt to perform in combat. Although
these feats can be utilized any number of times per day,
you cannot utilize more than one combat feat in any
given round.
Unlike most feats, the benefits from combat feats are not
always active. Unless stated otherwise, you must choose to
use a combat feat before any attack rolls are made and its
effects last until the beginning of your next turn.
Combat feats can be chosen as fighter bonus feats.
so if it was on the list before it is now as well st lest thats how I'm reading it.

All the feats I listed were replacements of the 3.5 version. The new version does not indicate that they are still fighter feats.
