One idea I have (I think I stole it from somewhere, too) is to switch the "penalties" for heavier armour.

Means: medium armour makes you run only three times as fast as your speed, and only heavy armour decreases your speed.


Light armour; run 4*, move 30'.
Medium armour; run 3*, Move 20', or 30' with fatigue (as running).
Heavy armour; As medium, but can't run.

Makes it 30/60/120, 20/40/90, 20/40/60; but allows more heavy armoured folk to hustle about 30/60 for about a minute if they want.


I could live with this.


What about bonuses to Bull Rush and the like? Once that Full Plate armored fighter gets moving, he's not exactly easy to stop.

Any thoughts on that?


oh the bull rush thing is nice. i would like the keep the armor we have but maybe add a something to them a reason everyone don't use. the same armor this is a good start.

Sounds good in theory, but I'm not sure we need that sort of complexity in there. An armour bonus to combat manoeuvres? How high is it?
