I was looking at the Cleric Spell per day numbers compared in the Alpha to the PHB, and just noticed something. The Clerics in the Alpha is missing a spell per day in certain levels that the PHB have. While I understand the 0 level stuff is due to how Orisons work now, I think that might be an error that needs to be correct...or if it was a change, why?
Are you talkign about how the domain bonus spells have been removed? If you are, this was intentional. Clerics now have a different way of handling domains and the powers granted by them, for more information otherwise check out the domains near the bottom of the Alpha 1 PDF.
If you weren't and were talking about something else, I don't know and hadn't noticed.

I think he's referring to the fact that the alpha rules top out the spells per day per spell level at 4 whereas 3.5 tops out at 5 per day per spell level plus a domain spell per spell level.
I'm assuming that this is intentional since the cleric gets more domain powers and unlimited 0th-level spells but it would be good to get confirmation.
Well, with healing being more readily available and domains offering spells and abilities for both (two domain spells instead of choosing one) there is no need for all those spells.
