Pathfinder Superstar?

Now that the big announcement has been made, what does this mean for the next RPG Superstar? Will it use 3.5? Pathfinder Alpha or Beta? 4E?

It *is* a good question. Internally, we haven't committed to a timeframe for another RPG Superstar, though we do agree we want to do one. So, it hasn't yet been given much thought.

Let me throw in a vote for Pathfinder Superstar. That would be a great way to help promote the RPG, and since it is 3.5 compatible, folks can still use the SRD to work out their submissions. Additionally, Paizo could use some of the best entries (whether the writers win or not) for the eventual Pathfinder RPG releases. After all, you've seen how many people want to see the various submissions in print... That's my two coppers.

Is there any indication of how many new people registered an avatar with Paizo as a result of the previous RPG Superstar?

I noticed many new names appearing, making their first posts, so I presume it was heavily promoted elsewhere?
