Will save vs fear (1d20+4=22)

Focused on the rhythmic movements and chants, Indo barely notices the fear spell cast on him.

Fortitude save (1d20+2=11)

The cultist's touch weakens Indo's arm, but not his resolve. He shakes off the fascinate effect (I hope. IC locked up on me so I rolled a 17+7 here. If that's not cool, you can roll for me.) and rounds the corner to face the cultist.

May you be reborn a snake, since you choose their company, he spits before he strikes.

We could, you know, keep my previous attack roll since my crit was ruined by the fascinate. : } Or, if you'd like to roll, my bonus is now +4. Also, my Initiative drops by one.

Female Human Rogue 2

What rolls do you need from Lotus? I'm away all day today, so if you want please roll any saving throws for me.

No rolls needed for Lotus right now, fascinated as she is.

Bonus +100 XP to everyone for reaching 1000 posts! Woo-hoo!

Round 6:
Shaking off the feeling of dread, Bedu heads into the darkened northern portion of the room after the cult leader. "Wake Indo and Lotus someone!" He tries to fake a trip to bluff the priest, but gets tangled up in his own feet and stumbles, his scimitar missing. Lotus remains entranced, but the cultist's fatiguing attack snaps Indo out of his fascination with the dancer. His strengthened resolve pushes him through the feelings of doubt that threatened to overwhelm him, and he rounds the corner to face the priest, across from Bedu. "May you be reborn a snake, since you choose their company!" he spats before he strikes, but his attack misses. Attack (including flanking bonus) (1d20+6=12); Damage (1d8+2=3) (Even with the -1, you still go at the same time in the initiative order)

The Queen with Burning Eyes comes back into the light to stand within the circle on the floor. Indo hears a hiss from behind him, followed by a wet splash against his face. The casutic liquid burns his eyes and sinuses, effectively blinding him. Indo is now blinded: -2 AC, no Dex bonus to AC, opponents have 50% concealment, must make DC 10 Acrobatics check to move faster than half speed.

Hammurabi moves north into the corner and launches a telekinetic fist at the cult leader, smashing into him. Concealment miss chance (1d100=75) Skittle, though almost overcome with doubt and dread, comes out of the shadows to engage the priest, but his two-fisted attack is unable to get through the man's armor.

"My greatest wish is to be reborn as a snake," the cultist responds to Indo's curse, "to slide among the coils of Hassith-Kaa for eternity!" He steps back against the wall, and looking directly at Skittle, says "DROP!", the word echoing with power. Skittle, make a DC 13 Will save or drop everything you're holding.

Skittle, Bedu, and Hammurabi can make a Perception check, DC 25:

Spoiler:
A tiny viper slides out of the cultist's robes and slithers across the floor towards you.

Everyone can make a DC 10 Perception check:

Spoiler:
Liet does not appear to have followed the rest of you into the room.

Please note: The entire northern half of the room is considered shadowy illumination and provides concealment, unless you have darkvision or low-light vision, so add in a percentile roll with any attacks, please.

End of round 6. Lotus and Pindara are still fascinated. Lotus and Skittle are under the effects of bane. Indo is fatigued and blinded.
Post your actions for next round. New map here.

"May the light of the sun cast away these shadows, evil be revealed!"
Hammurabi casts Dancing lights above the cultist

Failed perception check

Male Human Ranger 1 Abjurer 1

Indo focuses through the sting in his eyes and advances near the voice of his exultant enemy. I might not see your body, but your evil is hard to miss, scum!

Indo swings with waning strength, but misjudges the cult leader's location. The temple blade crashes into the floor next to his foe's feet.

Indo does his best to look towards the enemy's face. You are backed against a wall, I can hear it. Surrender before you are killed by a blind man!

Strike; damage; miss chance (high) (1d20+5=18, 1d8+3=5, 1d100=12)

Indo is blinded before the Perception check, therefore doesn't roll.

Bedu shouts for the wayward cleric, "Liet! Your brothers need you!"

Then he runs past the low wall and heads into the open well lit area and the Queen. He tries to engage the engaging seductress but even he succumbs to those lovely curves................and misses.

Scimitar and shield, attack = 9

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2013

I'd think if anyone appreciates a good curve, it'd be a fat dwarf with a scimitar!

Today has not been a good day to fight. Bedu keeps missing!

Round 7:
"Liet! Your brothers need you!" Bedu shouts, but wherever he is, Liet doesn't respond. Bedu runs into the southern half of the room, but as he leaves, a tiny snake on the floor strikes his leg. (1 pt of damage, Fort save DC 10 poison) The cult leader swings at him as he runs by, but misses. Facing the snake-woman, Bedu tries to attack but is distracted by her sinuous curves and misses. As Bedu approaches the Queen, she steps back, and an identical twin suddenly appears next to her. Both figures hiss, and spit a glob of saliva at the dwarf's face, but it sails harmlessly past his head.

"I might not see your body, but your evil is hard to miss, scum!" Indo says as he stumbles blindly forward. His wild swing misses completely. "You are backed against a wall, I can hear it. Surrender before you are killed by a blind man!" he taunts. Hammurabi casts a spell, and glowing globes of light appear above the cult leader's head. "May the light of the sun cast away these shadows, evil be revealed!" As bright as torches, the lights illuminate the dim reaches of this half of the room. (No more miss chances, unless you're blind).
Skittle curses as the priest's command forces him to drop his weapons clattering to the floor. (Will save (1d20=12) Unable to pick up his fallen weapons so close to the snake, Skittle draws a dagger and stabs at the serpent, his knife striking sparks from the floor as he misses.

"You and I then, fool!" the cultist snarls at Indo. "Perhaps the Great Serpent will open your eyes so you can see his glory. Or perhaps he'll simply take your blood!" The priest swings his temple sword at Indo's head, but the tribesman's magical armor deflects the blow. Meanwhile, the priest's snake strikes at Skittle, but its fangs close on empty air.

Shaking her head and blinking furiously, Lotus finally snaps out of the trance she was in.

End of round 7. Lotus is no longer fascinated, Pindara still is. Lotus and Skittle are under the effects of bane. Indo is fatigued and blinded.
Post your actions for next round. New map here.

Bedu's not the only one this round - only the little snake hit!

Female Human Rogue 2

Shaking her head and blinking furiously, Lotus finally snaps out of the trance she was in. The venom in her eyes from realizing she was overcome by the snakeb*$#& can be seen from miles away. The rogue quickly puts that anger to use as she approaches the Queen from the south. Work with me Bedu! she tells the dwarf. She flanks with Bedu to strike from two sides. Her sword darts forward and would do a great deal of damage should it draw blood.

Male Human Ranger 1 Abjurer 1

Indo steps forward to swing, hoping his girth will help push his enemy against the wal. Hearing the hissing snake, he pauses for just a second to assess the new threat. The moment is all the cultist needs to duck under the blow.

Help me pin him, friends. I can't see!

Poison save (1d20 2=11)

Bedu steps forward again, moving ten feet. He tries to hunker down behind his shield to avoid the acid and any other strange blow that may come his way.

Then he slices down at her feet.
Scimitar attack=11, Damage=7pts

"Please to stop delaying the inevitable, your death is written in the stars! Queen of Ugliness!"

Hummurabi listens to Indo's cry "I will give you the tools you need great tribesman" In an undulating shudder Hammurabi casts enlarge on Indo, "Powers of the jungle grow this man to the size of a tyrant king!" Hamurabi looks around the room for any signs of his gear hoping to find some tools to strike at the cultist. "Use your new Girth and size indo to pin this foul man, I am coming!

Round 8:
Bedu moves forward, hunkering down behind his shield, but his attacks are unable to get through the Queen's defenses. "Please to stop delaying the inevitable, your death is written in the stars! Queen of Ugliness!" he says. Lotus is now free from the Queen's fascination. "Work with me Bedu!" she tells the dwarf as she moves forward to flank the snake dancer with venom in her eyes, avoiding the dancer's attacks. (I rolled Acrobatics for you) Lotus jabs with her sword, but is no more successful than Bedu with her strike. Surrounded on both sides, the serpent-woman strikes out with her hands, each of which ends in a hissing viper's head. One closes harmlessly on the air near Bedu, but the other sinks its fangs into Lotus. (2 pts of damage, Fort save DC 14 poison) The Queen dances away, and her double vanishes, only to reappear beside her a moment later.

Still blinded and fatigued, Indo tries to trap his foe but can't manage it. "Help me pin him, friends. I can't see!" he shouts. Hammurabi responds, "I will give you the tools you need great tribesman. Powers of the jungle grow this man to the size of a tyrant king! Use your new girth and size Indo to pin this foul man, I am coming!" Indo suddenly grows much larger, doubling in height until he is towering over the cult leader. (Large size, +2 Str, -2 Dex, -1 attack rolls & AC, 10 ft. reach, Large damage) Skittle again tries to hit the snake, but misses. The snake strikes back, biting Skittle. (1 pt of damage, successful Fort save) The cultist, though taken aback by Indo's sudden increase in size, taunts Indo again before attacking. "Grow as large as you want, warm-blood, the coils of Hassith-Kaa are more than enough to crush you!" His temple blade slices into Indo's leg and he laughs maniacally. (vs. AC 11, 3 pts of damage)

Gradually, Indo feels strength return to his limbs as the unnatural fatigue fades away. (Indo is no longer fatigued, but still blinded, and now enlarged.)

Hammurabi:

Spoiler:
You see no sign of any of your gear or equipment, at least from where you are now.

Hammurabi, without your bonded object (your glaive) in your hand, you must make a Spellcraft check or lose the spell. I rolled for this one, and we won't change the previous spells you've cast, but please make a Spellcraft roll whenever you cast a spell from now on, until you get your bonded item back.

End of round 8. Indo is no longer fatigued, but still blinded, and now enlarged. Lotus and Skittle are under the effects of bane. Pindara is still fascinated. Post your actions for next round. New map here.

Female Human Rogue 2

The bite on her arm stings tremendously, but Lotus fights off the poison that seeps into her bloodstream. I'm not going near that b$&&# until she too bleeds! the Rogue thinks to herself. Then she pulls out one of her daggers and releases it to flight for the Queen. The dagger sails straight for the body of the Queen, but it skids off the scales on impact without doing any damage. DAMN! she chides herself for her lack of proper aim.

Fort save DC 14 poison [Fortitude: +2 (Base +0, Con +2)] (1d20+2=20)
Dagger attack; damage (1d20+4=14, 1d4+2=5)

Male Human Ranger 1 Abjurer 1

Indo tries mentally to handle the stress of blindness with the strange feel of his new size. He slices into the stone wall over the priest's head.

Think, fool! Indo chastises himself. Your friends are counting on you!

Hammurabi sends a telekinetic first towards the cult leader but it strikes above his head sneding some brick and dust to crumble to the floor. "Damn you snake-master, hold still!"
To hit: 5 to damage:5.

Male Gnome Ranger 2

"Enough!" Skittle yells as he slices at the snake. 1d20=8+4-1=11

Halfling bard2/rog1; Init +3/+5; AC20, tch 14, fft 17; Perform 8/8; CMD 12; hits 23/23; F +1, R +9, W +3; Perception +8

Bedu continues his assault on the fiend in woman form.

"Fall, oh hand of poisonous caresses! THAT KNOWS NO LOVE!"

He steps up and attacks.

Scimitar attack=13, Damage=7, It's getting higher!

Round 9:
Bedu continues his attack. "Fall, oh hand of poisonous caresses! THAT KNOWS NO LOVE!" Wary of more poisonous bites, Lotus hurls a dagger at the Queen. To the north, an enlarged Indo blunders about, blindly swinging his sword. Hammurabi adds a telekinetic fist into the fray. "Damn you snake-master, hold still!" Skittle continues his attacks on the snake. No one hits.

"You will learn to love my poison caresses," the Queen with Burning Eyes whispers as she strikes at Bedu, both snake-hands hissing, their fangs sinking deep into the dwarf's flesh. (5 pts of damage, make two DC 14 Fort saves vs. poison) Again, her double fades and reappears, and she steps back behind the wall. The cult leader slashes again, and Indo is unable to avoid the blow. (5 pts of damage) Meanwhile, the snake strikes Skittle again. (1 pt of damage, DC 10 Fort save vs. poison)

Finally, after much blinking and tearing, Indo is able to clear the blinding spittle from his eyes. Across the room, Pindara comes to and looks around wildly.

End of round 9. Indo is no longer blinded, Pindara is no longer fascinated. Lotus and Skittle are under the effects of bane.
Post your actions for next round. New map here.

This is going to end up a TPK unless you people start rolling some higher numbers! Yikes!

Female Human Rogue 2

Move around the back Bedu. We'll pin her in that position! are the rogue's shouted instructions to the dwarf. Then she advances on the Queen with her sword ready. This better work. Her sword dashes inside the Queen's defenses and draws blood finally. Does that sting? she taunts the snake-woman.

Round 10 attack and damage. (1d20+4=22, 1d6+2=8)

Let's hope we can do some damage this round or we may have to roll up some new adventurers.
PS, the queen is my DODGE choice!
I didn't include any flanking with Bedu if he can move around to get behind the Queen. If so, please roll sneak damage for me and add 2 to my attack roll.

Telekinetic fist for Hammurabi vs the cult leader Rob can u roll for me as I am at work....
Once more Hammurabi unleashes the kinetic force of his telekinetic fist "Rainbow serpent guide my strike"

Male Gnome Ranger 2

"$#*&," Skittle yells as the snake sinks its teeth in for a second bite. Frustrated with his inability to land a solid blow, and with an eye toward Indo's similar situation, Skittle growls and swipes at the viper with his dagger. At the same time, he picks up his short sword with the other hand and immediately follows his first strike with a second with the longer weapon. The snake, however, dodges his blows with an almost supernatural quickness.

Fort Save (1d20=8+5=13)

Bedu snaps a grin at Lotus.

"Your wish.."

He runs around and shoulders past Indo until he is in front of the snakewoman, smiling again.

Poison saves (1d20=20, 1d20=6), forgot +2 for being fat and bearded.

Male Human Ranger 1 Abjurer 1

At first, I thought this would leave Indo staggered, but I just counted backwards and he seems to be down only 8 hp (so currently at 5). What's your count, boss?

Regardless:

Indo squints as the light floods back to his eyes, almost bothered by this newest distraction. He makes the form of the priest against the wall and grimaces at the pain in his side. You were warned. To the Hells with you!

I see you! (1d20+6=23, 2d6+5=15)

Indo is obviously very banged up these last few seconds.

Right-o, just realized that as I looked at the map.

Female Human Rogue 2

With Bedu offering flank I get sneak damage.
Sneak damage (1d6+2=6)

Round 10:
Bedu and Lotus try to pin the Serpent Queen between them, Bedu running around the corner and squeezing past Indo. Lotus moves up and jabs the Queen with her sword. "Does that sting?" she taunts the snake-woman, but her jaw drops in surprise as her sword plunges through the dancer's illusory double, which disappears, leaving the Queen unharmed. The Queen hisses in laughter, "Not at all, pink-skin!"

Meanwhile, Indo strikes at the priest against the wall, whom he can now see. "You were warned. To the Hells with you!" he cries, slicing his enlarged blade through the cult leader's armor, nearly cleaving him in twain.

Another double appears next to the snake woman to replace the one destroyed by Lotus. The Queen grasps the holy symbol around her neck, raises her hands in a position of prayer, and with a shake of her hips, intones a short prayer: "Let them feel the fangs of Hassith-Kaa!" An aura of crackling black energy coalesces around her body, then bursts outward. The negative energy blasts everyone in the room except Hammurabi, who is just outside the burst. (Everyone [except Hammurabi] takes 4 pts of damage; Will save DC 12 for half damage)

Unfazed by the wave of negative energy coursing through the room, Hammurabi throws another telekinetic fist at the cult leader. "Rainbow serpent guide my strike!" he cries. (Attack roll 9+3=12, 5 pts of damage) "My Queen," the cultist gasps, and falls to the floor, dying. Skittle snatches up his sword again and strike once again at the snake, but misses. Feeling its master fall, the snake turns and crawls over to the fallen priest's body, forked tongue flicking the air in confusion and distress.

Pindara, finally free of her fascination, rushes into the southern half of the room. She casts a spell, throwing out her arms to launch a glowing bolt of energy that flies past Lotus to impact against the Queen.

End of round 10. Please make Will saves for the negative energy burst. Post your actions for next round. New map here.

Female Human Rogue 2

Will save DC 12 for half damage (1d20-1=19)

Lotus easily shrugs off most of the detrimental effects of the negative energy burst. Frustrated with being foiled by the Queen's illusionary double she is nearly overcome by doubt in her mind. Will nothing stop this creature? Desperate, but now focussing on the correct creature she plunges her sword forward again, hoping to finally hurt the snake-woman.

Round 11: Another sword attack with flanking. (1d20+6=25, 1d6+2=3, 1d6+2=3)
Crit confirmation (1d20+6=10, 1d6+2=8)

I don't get an attack of opportunity for her casting a spell while I'm threatening her? And what about Bedu?

Lotus wrote:

It wasn't a spell, alas, but channeling energy (previously known as Turn Undead) of the negative energy variety, which doesn't provoke AoOs. Welcome to the Pathfinder RPG! :S

Indo prepares for another swing to end the cultist, but just before the final blow, a wave of nausea and bleakness washes over him.The cultist feels the affects, too, vomiting blood and sinking against the wall.

Indo turns insurprise, but wide-eyed, can only fall to the grounds, dark blood seeping from his wounds and an ashen pallor on his face.

Indo is at -2 hit points (Will save (1d20+3=20), after failing his stability roll on his turn.

Hammurabi will move directly north of Bedu and cast true strike on himself this round. "Serpent Queen your tricks and guise will not save you from my next strike!"

Channel energy is a supernatural ability, so no dwarven bonus.

Round 11:
(Assuming Bedu delays...) Lotus attacks again, luckily striking the actual Queen, not her illusory double, plunging her sword deep into her vitals. The Queen hisses in pain and anger.
Lotus, a sneak attack is just a straight +1d6 bonus to damage, with no Str mod. Also, for future attacks against the Queen, make a d4 roll to see if you hit her or her double.
Bedu steps back and calls upon his energies to heal Indo, saying "Live and fight Indo!" Indo feels strength returning to his limbs as the worst of his wounds close. (Indo is healed up to 4 hp)

Indo, because you were healed, you can now take an action, and didn't yet lose a hp from dying.
Hammurabi, Bedu moved before you, so if you want to adjust your movement, go ahead.

I'll post the rest of the round once we have Indo's action. As a reminder:

Initiative order:
Lotus
Bedu (delay)
Indo

Pindara

Hammurabi will move south of Indo and he will add "Tribesman pass me your sword, trust me"

Technically, mirror image (assuming that's what it is) isn't a concealment effect. You still have to choose an image to attack. See this thread for details...

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2013

Hammurabi - take the sword...but careful what you do with it after Indo's next turn.

Male Human Ranger 1 Abjurer 1

The big man's temple blade shrinks noticably as it scatters across the floor. Take care, and my father's sword will serve you well.

Leaping forward, Indo reaches from all fours toward the snake-woman. He grasps her ankle and tugs to pull her down with him, but her legs prove as diaphanous as her silks. The smirking image laughs his attack away as it once again fades from sight.

Grrr. If she's got a weapon, she can take an opportunity attack.

thanks Rob. Hammurabi will have to learn the hard way I will definatley hit one of em lol
