First, it doesn't exist; second, it wasn't an alternate cover.

With Rise of the Runelords, we did a special distribution into military outlets where Pathfinder 1 was bundled with a Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide, and we had planned to do the same for Curse of the Crimson Throne.

Unfortunately, it turned out that the charge for bundling the two together cost more than we actually made from the sale of the items, so we pulled the plug on the Crimson Throne bundle. However, it did get assigned an ISBN before the plug was pulled, and it looks like that's where Barnes & Noble got their data.

And that's why I like you more then Mike McArtor. Always on top of stuff. And here I thought I discovered something exciting and new. ;)

Why is there a charge for bundling?

The Rise of the Runelords PF#1 you did do as a military special, is the cover identical to the publically available or any other noticable differences?

Someone has to man the machine that wraps them up in those stupid plastic bags. And pay for the plastic. and the company doing the wrapping has to make a profit..

It was a standard cover Pathfinder 1 and a standard Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide, wrapped with a printed paper band explaining that this was a special bundle.
