I was recently reading about Finish gods and creation myths. I guess Lovitar (of D & D fame) kind of comes from there. Amazing what different cultures come up with.
I really like in the Kalevala how the Sampo (the central magical item from the smith god Ilmarinen that everyone is after) is never really defined. It's something really awesome, but it's exact nature isn't laid out.
Just makes it harder to find.. Maybe it isn't always the same shape? Depending on who wields it? XD
The fellow we rescued from the hut gave Kalt a +1 amulet of natural armor, and he's already got one.
Who would like it? We can probably safely presume that it was given to the appropriate person before this fight, rather than having to do the hand-off mid-battle.
Ankih already has a natural armor bonus from his cloak, and Sven's AC is already pretty good. Shanya is the next most likely to be in melee and she's got a fairly low AC.

Nope, it won't stack. Only the higher of the two bonuses applies when you've got the same type of bonus twice - and +1 isn't much higher than +1.

Yes, climbing up would definitely be full round at normal speed, DC 15. You could make it a move, but it gets into heroic territory - DC 25

I just googled this, as it sounded vaguely familiar, and the images brought back all sorts of memories. I had a friend who was a big comic collector, and he had a bunch of Warlord comics, which I read a lot, but I somehow had forgotten the character's name. I always dug the cool fanged skull thing he wore on his shoulder, though I'm not sure I could carry it off as well as he does.
I collected comics for a lot of years, but not these. Just used to read them at my uncle's house when I visited.
They definitely went with the charisma as armor type. seeing as how the Warlord and his Cat barely wore anything. The shoulder guard of a fanged skull was cool tho...

Not sure. She was ok when I left to return home, just in a lot of pain from the impact. But my brother called today and said she was back in the hospital with fluctuating heart rate. Can't get back to see her right now. It was a 12 hour drive one way. Brother is keeping me posted.

I enjoy Timothy Truman (especially Scout), Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo), Eastman & Laird, Warren Ellis and the old WARP comics. I'm pretty sure I would like Masamune Shirow (GITS) and Makoto Yukimura (Planetes), if I could get around the language barrier, but I enjoy the animated adaptations of them at least.
