The Hold of Belkzen

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Hello everyone,

it's been mentioned several times that there is an internal "Paizo World Book" which contains information about various locales in Golarion. Would it be possible to post a snippet or two about the Hold of Belkzen? This is one heck of an evocative location, but thus far, we don't really know much about it besides "(half-)orcs are hailing from there". Could you shed some light on what the Hold looks like, how it's ruled, that kind of thing?

Many thanks! [even if the answer is: 'no, we can't, because it will become relevant in Pathfinder #126' :-)]

Scarab Sages

I think it will show in PF#11 (June 08) actualy, since PCs have to travel there. Somewhere in the second half of CotCT AP at least, based on what James Jacobs told us in the Chat Tuesday. IIRC, there will also be a Gazeteer of the region in that same PF.

But that doesn't mean we don't want early spoilers about it ;p

Has it been mentioned if it has any connections to Urglin?

Paizo Employee Creative Director

The Hold of Belkzen will indeed have lots of details in Pathfinder 11. And it is associated with Urglin... in that Urglin is settled and inhabited by exiles from Belkzen.

Thanks for the answers :). So, it's the waiting game for me. But hey, at least it will show up sooner than anticipated!
