Same problem here. I was charged 11+ USD instead of the usual 5 USD.
And for some reason a 0 USD poster was thrown in the order (which I did not request), that's maybe what's made the shipping costs go wrong?

Yes, the poster is indeed the problem. We decided to ship all former Dragon subscribers outside the US and Canada a Dragon 359 poster along with the next volume of Pathfinder just in case you hadn't received it. Note that you haven't been charged yet -- we've only authorized the charge (to verify that you have funds available). We won't charge your card until we print the label for your Pathfinder shipment.
I'll fix the problem with incorrect shipping charges before that happens.
Gary, I have just checked my bank a few minutes before and I have just charged the money for pathfinder #3 and the next gamemastery module and it has been the usual price but in my order says that dragon 359 map is going to ship with the order. I haven´t asked for a map and I think I have that map so I don´t want it. Please, can you fix it?

as I have heard it they threw the poster in with all of the international orders because of the number that were taken out by customs.
a question of my own though - is it still that the 2 USPS options take the same amount of time in reality, so pick the cheapest (for those in the US) because everyone keeps saying to choose the UPS option, but I don't have that option for my subscriptions. UPS delivered to my house yesterday, so its not that they don't delver here...

I just double checked your subscription and the order generated and you have not been charged yet, only authorized. However, it is likely that the authorization is showing up on your account as a "Pending Transaction" and there is probably a hold placed on the funds, but this is not a charge.

The reason that UPS isn't showing up as a delivery option on your subscriptions is that the first line of your address in our system is a PO Box, and UPS will not deliver to them. The system only looks at the first line of your address, so the fact that your street address appears on line 2 makes no difference.
If you would like to continue receiving your subscriptions to the PO Box, then you will have to stick with USPS. But if you want to (or want to be able to) choose UPS as a shipping option, you should change your address so that the street address appears on line 1 and the PO Box address isn't there.

on a related note, why does it automatically put the PO box first, even if you put it in the address 2 field? some delivery services to small towns like mine deliver to the post office, and they treat it like a regular mail package, but if it doesn't have a PO box listed they automatically send it back (luckily UPS is the only carrier that goes door to door delivering here)

US addresses go through address standardization, which means that the address you type in is corrected to the match the USPS database of valid addresses. So, if the USPS insists that the PO Box be line 1, that's what will happen. (And trying to trick it would be a Very Bad Idea.)
Might I suggest you create a second address without the PO Box, and only use that for UPS shipments?
Ok, it seems I am not alone in this problem. I have sent an e-mail off to Customer Service but it looks like this problem will be fixed up anyway.

I have the same problem when I try to take a pathfinder + gamemastery subsciption : 11.86$ for shiping and handling.

I take the combined method (the "wait until Pathfinder is ready" method).
I've done a second shopping cart and this time, the shipping cost is 13$ !

It's USPS because it's for an international shipping.
As far as I understand, the shipping cost is 5$ for a single Pathfinder subscription, 6.86$ for a Gamemastery subscription and 5$ ou 6.86$ if I take a Combined Subscriptions.
