Howdy, folks!
We've posted for another available position here at Paizo: Sales & Marketing Assistant.
We're also looking for one more member of our Warehouse Team as well as a Software Developer.
Join us, and we will rule the galaxy as employer and employee.
Thanks!

I am so tempted by this but the fact I'm canadian and live in newfoundland totally exempts.

Right...and when you need some textbook editors i'll be sending in my resume!
As ever,

The trick isn't attaching the lasers to the sharks. The trick is getting them to aim in the right direction.
Actually, a laser on a shark is no good. A Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation device emits what is essentially beam of light with a very narrow wavelength. Such a beam of light would likely be refracted when it hit water. The shark is an animal with the aquatic template.
Now, lasers on bunny rabbits - that's an entirely different story.....

Dude, this is their digital initiative. My guess is that Gary Teter wants to shorten his work day to 24 hours.
I'm not qualified for the software position (although I once wrote a mean race car game in basic for the C64). I'm qualified for the sales position, but I personally find that work stressful. I'm hugely qualified for the warehouse job, and odd as it may be, that kind of work is a little piece of heaven for me.
Not enough of a piece for me to uproot my family and move to a foreign country where my wife will get paid maybe half what she does here, where she works at her dream job (she teaches at the high school she went to as a student).
Just enough of a piece for me to read the posting and say "Crap..."
Josh, you're killing me.

Question, though, before I even think about applying - what is the minimum salary for the position?
You're going to let a little thing like money get in the way of playing DnD - I mean working - with these guys?!?

Yes, unfortunately I have to. Being a single-income household is rough enough as it is. I need to know that I won't be committing financial suicide to pursue something that I love.

I hear ya...but I figure if I could get a job at Starbucks I would probably save more money than the difference in salary! ...do Paizo employees have to purchase their own Pathfinder volumes?

:D
I ask for the minimum salary because I want to know, in the worst case scenario, if I can afford to take the position. Working for a company like Paizo would completely change my life for the better. It would be an honor and a privilege to work for a company I hold in such high regard and I would have no problem whatsoever marketing for a product that I truly respect and believe in. I would be willing to sacrifice a lot for the job, including packing up and moving all the way up to Seattle from Arizona, but one thing I cannot afford to lose is my family.
I'm not looking to get rich in the gaming industry. I'm looking to stay alive and be happier with my career than I currently am.

Very well. I was expecting that might be the case. Of course, you guys might still have my resume on file from when I applied for the Accounting position (which I was, admittedly, underqualified for) a couple of months ago.

We're not so big as to have an HR department—resumes go to the manager doing the hiring, and since these are different jobs, you should probably resend it.

Oddly, Daigle seems to also be able to see Vic's post... but I can't.
