Would it be possible to stamp "DON'T FOLD" on the packaging for pathfinder? I received my copy of rise of the runelords with a damaged spine.
Although, the damage is not bad enough for me to ask for a replacement, receiving a damaged copy of a book I bought sucks to the highest degree.
I'm well aware that the stamp would, most likely, not have helped, but would have added strength to the complaint I'll be making at the local post office.

Actually, your mailing label should have the "Do Not Bend" message printed on it.

It was on my label, and I got mine undamaged. But it was printed very small. Could you print it bigger? My first Gamemastery Module arrived damaged as well, and printing it big might help...
(BTW, on the customs label was written "2 books, 2 toys" In it was Pathfinder, Pathfinder Players Guide and two GMMs. Which are books, and which are toys? And why?)Stefan

Our system has Pathfinder products listed as both "books" and "games," and the customs equivalent of "games" is "toys." We've made sure that, given the choice, it will always pick "books" for books from now on.

Even with the large "DO NOT BEND" lettering, mine still showed up creased and with a broken spine. Just shows that the postal workers aren't paying much attention. :(
If that keeps happeneing you might want to complain to the post office. As long as they don't mention specifics about you, you shouldn't expect any bombs in your mail.

Dungeonblaster,
If registering a complaint with the USPS doesn't help, either, I would suggest that you change your shipping method to UPS. It's more expensive (usually by a couple of bucks), but the shipments are trackable and your Pathfinder comes in a sturdy cardboard box. Furthermore if something does happen to your package, the shipments are guaranteed by UPS.

Didn't know I could do that. Thanks for the tip, I think I will have my future Pathfinder issues sent via UPS!
An excellent idea. Since your Pathfinders are converted volumes from your Dungeon subscription, you will need to contact Customer Service to switch your shipping method. The Converted Subscriptions all have the free USPS Standard Shipping, and any higher shipping requires a payment method associated with the subscription to pay for the higher shipping fee.
If you already have a payment method associated with your profile, you can just send an email to customer.service@paizo.com letting us know to make the change and which payment method to use. Otherwise, you'll want to give me a call at the number below.
Thanks,

I feel your pain. I once bought a pristine AD&D DM screen on eBay that my mailman folded in half to shove into my mailbox (rather than leave behind my storm door). His Christmas tip suffered accordingly! ;)
