On my init:

Spoiler:
Sorry that i keep doing this, I just want to keep things moving along. :)

Realizing he can't take another swing like that, Duneharrow gathers himself mentally, and prepairs to manifest.
Concentration, manifesting defensively (1d20+8=21)
After successfully manifesting a Vigor power (2 powerpoints, +10hp), and he's now coated in a slick shimmering substance that quickly evaporates (only lasts for 1 round). In addition, everyone within 20' of Duneharrow smells an odd but familiar odor that brings to mind a brief mental flash of a long-buried memory. The scent is difficult to pin down, and no two individuals ever describe it the same way. The scent vanishes in less than a second. Duneharrow steps to the side (H8, 5' step) to face the second gnoll.
Side note: Duneharrows AC is back to it's normal 17, and now has 18hp, 10 of which are temporary. The substance and odor are the material and olfactory displays of the Vigor power.

Conner will cast create water above area J7 (creates a slight deluge of 6 gallons), in the area he last saw the red scaled goblin. He will then shout "Beware invisible foe!" and climb atop the wagon. taking 10,which gives him a 14

A large globe of water manifests in the air splashes to the ground as
Conner clamors up on top of the wagon, unfortunately is seems the goblin has moved.

Spot 20

Spoiler:
You notice that the water settles in some foot prints the lead to the left side of the wagon.

Bri is up

Female Halfing Rogue

Spot=19+5=24 Bri watches as the water goes up but then she notices that the water settles in some foot prints that lead to the left side of the wagon, Bri gives a shout to Connor and points to the foot prints. Bri readies herself and moves towards the wagon to see where the foot steps go listen check: 16+8=24 to try to hear any movement

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

Conner looks to see what Bri is pointing at...and sees mud....spot check (1d20+2=9)

Bri closes her eyes and contentrates on her hearing 'looking' for the invisible foe.

For Bri

Spoiler:
Your ears pick up the rattle of armor and a low whisper next to the large man fighting the gnoll.
You can hear something in K-I, 6-7 area.

Skidd is up

Male Halfling Sorcerer 3 (3,300 xp)

I forget, is there any way I can actually influence the battle without getting across a river?

Skiddifig Hahdrik wrote:

You could thrown your spear but there is a lot of cover. Now that you are a Medium size the river would only be about waist deep for you to cross. You will need to make either a balance check or a Str check to stay on your feet. Worst case scenario you will just be really wet when you get across.

Perhaps I'm impatient:

Spoiler:

If the gnoll in front of me does anything to provoke AoO:
Unmodified Attack Roll (1d20+7=14, 3d6+6=14)

On my Init:
Attack with Lg Mwk Greatsword; Power Attack -1 to hit, +2 dmg (1d20+6=26, 3d6+8=16)
Possible Critical
Crit confirm roll; extra damage in case of crit (1d20+6=8, 3d6+8=14)
Doubt they have AC of 8. Still, it's 16 damage though

Again, sorry for my impatience. The several day lapse between posts drives me nuts. lol

Sorry man the gnoll is lucky

Conner is up, make a spot check before you go.

Spot for Conner DC 10

Even with the height advantage and being distracted by Duneharrow the gnoll still manages to dodge Conners strike.

Duneharrow is up. You can change you post or just post the above again.

With a singular downward motion, Duneharrow brings his sword down upon his foe with the weight of an anvil.

Attack 26. Possible Crit. Confirm 8 (probably not). 16 damage. 30 if it actually critted. See previous post spoiler for links to rolls.

DM:

Spoiler:
Duneharrow is going to be looking at the dead enemy bodies, counting in his mind how many there are. How many foes are still alive that Duneharrow can see?

Female Halfing Rogue

Sorry busy week

Bri listens and can hear a whisper next to the goblin K-I 6-7 She moves closer to Connor to try to tell him what she heard without drawing attention to herself. Sneak:5 Once to Connor she tells him what she heard and wants to know what he wants to do since she is still as small as an ant and doesn't think she will do much good without a little help.

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

For Bri and DM:

Spoiler:
On his initiative Conner will listen to Bri, and go full defensive." I'm not sure what to do , never fought an invisible foe before.Do you need healing?"

Conner takes a firm grip on his sword and squints around toward the end of the cart/wagon,and talks quietly to his dimunitive new companion.

Female Halfing Rogue

No, Bri is fine but thanks for the offer!

Skidd is up

How many living enemies to i see? How many dead ones do i see? If i remember, there was supposed to be 5 in total. Duneharrow wants to make sure they're all taken care of before doing anything else.

Duneharrow wrote:

You are correct there were 5, now there are two dead gnolls and two dead goblins. The other you can not see.

Skidd you around?

Male Halfling Sorcerer 3 (3,300 xp)

Yeah, sorry.
Skidd looks nervous, but doesn't want to cross the river unless he has to.
"You need help over there", he calls out.
Skidd will take no action unless he truly believes that the others need his help.

Bri, Duneharrow and Conner scan the area but the they still can't pin down the goblin. Suddenly he reappears behind Duneharrow as he touches the back of his leg and shouts a bunch of goblin. The goblins hand sends a black wave of energy into Duneharrows leg and icy pain shoots up his legs toward his heart.

7 damage, roll a will save DC 13 for half damage

Conner is up.

Male Halfling Sorcerer 3 (3,300 xp)

"He's a mage!", Skidd shouts in horror. "I'd hoped he'd only used a potion!"

Will save (1d20+2=11)
Failed, I'm now at -1. But vigor is still active, as soon as it ends (2 minute duration), i'll be at -11. Assuming i stabilize. Good game, looks like i'm dead. Anybody willing to notice, or look through my stuff will realize i have 3 potions. 2 are CLW and 1 is CMW.

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

conner will hop down next to Duneharrow and cast defensivly, CLW on him. Casting defensivly and clw on Duneharrow (1d20+6=24, 1d8+5=8)
not dead yet;)

Duneharrow shouts and the collapses to the ground nearly landing on top of Bri. The Goblin snarls menacingly as he turns to face the other two.

Conner hops down and places his hand on Duneharrows back and the big mans eyes flutter one as Conners hand radiates a soft glow.

Duneharrow is up

His eyes open, and from his mouth, a deep and large voice says, "I'm going to need another soon," as he looks at Connor. He grips his weapon and stands on his feet. Incurring AoO. Trying to finish this fight, he swings at the remaining foe. Assuming I'm still alive from his AoO
Large Greatsword Attack (1d20+6=11)
Damage (3d6+6=19)

As Duneharrow rises the goblin is taken by surprise that the big man is still alive and clumsily swings and misses him. Duneharrow still a little uneasy on his feet swings over the goblins head.

Large Greatsword Attack (1d20+6=23)
Large Greatsword Damage (3d6+6=17)
It's okay, at least I have more than 10 hp now, and I won't die when Vigor wears out

Duneharrow wrote:

Not yet you guys skipped over Skid and the goblin so you still have a chance at dying.

The goblin hisses and staggers on his feet nearly going down. He quickly grabs the wound and swings his mace at Bri but the little halfling ducks under the blow.

Sorry DM I wasn't trying to skip anybody, my action was just independent of what was going on so in the interest of keepin it movin I went ahead and posted.also based on skidds earlier statement that he wasnt acting unless he could be effective from across the river.Plus kinda was hopin Bri'd drop the little bugger.should've put the qualifier on my initiative. oops

I figured since bri was up, and she went, then conner went, it was my turn. Even so, it won't change my action. :)

No problem guys I know the feeling.

Conner places his hand on Duneharrow's back again and as a soft light radiates from it the gash on his arm closes a little.

Duneharrow's sword sweeps down and slices into the goblins chest dropping him to the ground.

Combat is over. Now your guys can introduce each other.

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

"Hoi! Thanx for the rescue!I'm Conner Kordson, mostly from Keeper's Dale but I wander around alot." He will extend his hand to Duneharrow, then kneel by Bri"Thank you my dimunitive friend."he will then rumage thru the wagon to get his stuff.

"Hello. I thank you for healing me. I must return this wagon to its rightful owner, looks like he owes me an apology, and some money." Duneharrow says in his loud voice. "My name is Duneharrow, and you can call me friend. I've come from Narath-du recently, though I call no place home."

Male Halfling Sorcerer 3 (3,300 xp)

Skidd sighs with relief. "Thank the gods. I didn't have any combat spells.

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

After retrieving his gear from the wagon, Conner will finishing healing Duneharrow.clw on dune (1d8+5=9)
He will then wade across to Skidd."Hoi my friend need assistance crossing the river? I'm Conner."

"I thank you again friend. I feel much better now. Are these friends of yours?"

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

"No problem.Never met them actually, but the enemy of my enemy....."
Conner will continue to wait for Skidds answer...

Male Halfling Sorcerer 3 (3,300 xp)

Skidd shrugs. "That's alright, I can do it myself." He then picks up his cat, although he looks a bit nervous. He hesitates, then says, "I don't suppose you could take my cat? I don't want to drop him. Hattyn gets very upset when he gets wet."

male human Male Human Magus 3 | HP:27/30, AC:15, T:12, Ff:13 | F:+5. R:+3, W:+3 | CMD:16 | Perception:+3, Initiative:+2

"Sure if he'll come with me...."Conner will reach for Hattyn, and if he comes willingly, will carry him across on his shoulder.

Male Halfling Sorcerer 3 (3,300 xp)

Waking up, Hattyn hisses at Skidd in an annoyed way for waking him up. He then moodily leaps onto Conner's shoulder.
What is the Balance DC?

Is it just us three now?
"It's nice to meet you. May i ask, what brings you here to these woods, to this wagon?"

There are still four. Between Halloween and the bubonic plague that swept through our house we have been out of action for a bit sorry. We will be back in it tonight.
