I recently saw the Mortal Kombat movie after a long absence, and even though it is still as funny/awful as I remember, I wanted to make a little jab in the game to the players. Essentially, I just would like to hear some ideas about which character, or set of characters, each of the arena teams would represent.
My own thoughts:
Korush and buddies: Johhny Cage and fanboys
The Elven Girls: Tanya, Mileena, Serena, and Jade
That Barbarian Druid: Um...Nightwolf?
Pitch Blade: Noob Saibot and Smoke
Auric and Kellek: Shao-Khan and Shang Tsung
I'd like to include Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but hey. Heck, I want to do all of them, but there's only so many fighters!
Oh, and Madtooth is most likely Reptile.

I have to admit, when running the fight tonight versus Pitch Blade, I started it out with Raknian and his amplified voice saying: "FIGHT!"
