Hey, what d'ya guys think of the cover art? Gorgeous, right? :) And considering much of the subject matter is about art, you can only imagine what kind of great stuff will grace the inside of the module.
That is indeed some pretty awesome artwork there. With all the praise you're laying on this module, I'm beginning to think you wrote it or something! Heh. Isn't that silly?

Ahem.

Greer is a phenom. Don't give into the legend of his enduring talent by paying for any of his brilliant, well-balanced, and all fun all the time adventures. That would be letting the creative geniuses win.
Looks amazing, Steve.
Thanks, man. I can't wait to see the inside art, honestly. I saw that the cover was up and nobody seemed to have noticed so I had to... uh... draw some attention. Call it shameless self-promotion. I just dig that cover ;)

The Jade |

Those talented enough to get published should feel no shame in sounding the call. Being the tree who fell in the forest is just weak. I didn't know you'd written this adventure until you just announced it.
I'm trying to buy it right now, and a subscription to Pathfinder, but it's only adding one issue of Pathfinder in with the order. It says ongoing subscription for 13 bucks. I'm thoroughly confused.

The Jade |

Yes Jade. You are easily amused. But do you also have a "GameMastery Module" tag too? ;-P
Of course I do, but I got the limited edition invisible one. I see you got the regular old visible one. Hmmf.
Seriously though... I bought module U1. Am I not a GameMastery Modules subscriber? What do I have to do? Without parenthetical statements of belonging after my name I'm (Paizo.com town fool) nothing.

You have to sell your soul to Paizo [optional] and sign up for the Month to Month subscription for the GameMastery modules. Just buying this one doesn't make you a subscriber. Act now, and you'll get the second installment as it's being released (and the free PDF).

Nicolas Logue wrote:I've eye-f~!@ed an early draft of this adventure and it was quite sexy!!! Can't wait to see it in print Steve!LOL. Dude, my ears are going to be burning at Gen Con without the Paizo boards there to censor your filthy mouth! :p
** spoiler omitted **
Steve, you have no idea. We counted, and Nick said "f~!&in'" 263 times during a game of Shadowrun at Origins.

The Jade |

I played with Nick recently, but I was end-of-the-day shot and had an eye-paddling headache, so I just mumbled my way through my role in a bit of a bewildered daze... but Nick never swore at me, not once. He didn't swear that entire weekend, so far as I could tell. Although I later found out that he was so incensed with me that he framed me for a twinkie I did not commit.
Curse you, Logue. Curse your snack cakey revenge.
BTW, when a game started to slip out of control Nick stayed on it like a rodeo pro, adapting instantaneously with every new turn. Truly something to see. He's the OIDM.

Here's my attempt at captions for the cover art:
"When good Spot checks go bad. . ."
"The partial action provided by a surprise round can be game changing. . ."
and. . .
"Always look both ways before crossing the Gallery of Evil."
I'm very excited about this mod.

MaxSlasher26 |

I just took a closer look at that piece, and I must say that it's a beauty. I'm inspired by the concept of this adventure. I'm sure Crown of the Kobold King and the other upcoming modules are great (heck, I intend to get them sometime), but this is one of the very unique ones that intrigues me deeply.
I think this may be the first GameMastery module I'll buy. (DISCLAIMER: MaxSlasher26 has said similar things on other products and never ever bought them and never ever will.)
Hooray! This is post #666 for me! I feel special. And evil.

Well, Nathan. I'm afraid I'm going to have to hold you to that. Otherwise, you force me to send a couple sawed off motha' ********* down to... where are you from again? Oh, yeah. Lewisville, North Carolina. I'll send my boyz over there to shake you down until you do buy my adventure. Procrastinate buying my adventure, will ya?! We'll just see about that.
Oh, and congratulations on your special Damien day. Cool!

Now THAT'S the spirit!

I just saw the preview art from this module in todays blog, and I just have to say: wow! stunning.
Are the two chain covered behemoths Kytons (chain devils)? And if they are I would guess that the little guys are lemures or possibly soul larvae.
I can't wait to get my hands on this one...
Another thing, the page says preorder expected in October, but the blog says this module is for september. Which is correct?

Steve Greer Contributor |

Are the two chain covered behemoths Kytons (chain devils)?
No. The artist took some liberties with those particular creatures (both in the adventure and in real life). I fully approve.

Yes. Correct on your second guess.

Gah! And now Steve Greer will forever know my as Nathan! Curse my name!
Common mistake though. The school system always has me down as Nathan Miller, and I have to tell my teachers the same story in every class each year.

Yay! Thanks for stepping in Vic. I really didn't know the answer. I thought it was out this month and was just as confused as Atrocious by the conflicting October release blurb. Only about 3 weeks left, then.

Before you make any such moves, Steve, you may want to ask what happened to the first 25 MaxSlashers.
Never fear, 'Kings, your punistry was not in vain. Unlike the silent and unappreciative clods on this thread before me, I chuckled aloud. I raise my mug o' ale to you!

The lad has until the end of October, my Gninja team. And then he's yours!

I read another post over the weekend indicating that credit cards would be hit probably today! That suggests things are on schedule. Have patience, the wait will be more than worth it!
...of course, I got my Kobold Quarterly #2 PDF in my inbox last night so I'm busy digesting the best D&D magazine in the world.

Love the Cover! Can't wait to see check this one out, actually. I really like urban adventures.

The art samples have been very cool so far. If you haven't kept up with the Piazo blog with snippets of stuff about Gallery of Evil, you can check out some of the art here, here, and here.

So uh....How do I get a cool handle like that(Good Ninja Minion). I was thinking more of like Flyn Savage Monkey Squadron or somthin to that effect.
Sorry for stealing your thread of glory Steve. Carry on.
