Best D&D Web Sites Out there?

Liberty's Edge

I'm trying to organize my bookmarks and I want to compile the BEST D&D / RPG web sites. Obviously Paizo.com is there as is Wizards site. What other sites do you all consider the best? I know Monte Cook has one, although I don't know the URL.

So ... help a guy out ... what sites are the BEST???

Thanks!

Ummm......nothing comes to mind.

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

This could be useful for a Greyhawker.

Or along the same lines this.

Hmmm... I have a few:

I like this guy's character sheets. A lot.

DnDResources.com has a ton of stuff, stretching back to 1E.

Go here for v3.5 Spell Sheets

Kolja Raven Liquette has done free lance work for WotC. Keeps a nice website of PrCs and other class-related goodies.

And I have to give a shout out to Order of the Stick creator Rich Burlew's site

A complete set of handy reference PDFs can be located at Crystal Keep.

Sifting through those (and their links pages) should keep one busy for a time. Good luck on the BEST DnD website list!

For a trip down memory lane, try

Peta's Homepage: http://peta.mobilserver.cz/add/adnd.html

Doesn't look like it's been updated since 2e. There's a link to the TSR Live on AOL!

Good times!

How about Sean K Reynold's website? http://www.seankreynolds.com/

For every Forgotten Realms fan: Forgotten Realms Help.

Invisible Castle is nice if you play by post at all, lets you roll dice online and provides links to the rolls for posting in your posts.

Do you think you could "linkify" all those links... it's a PITA to copy and paste them into a browser.

Have to plug Candlekeep for anyone that is a fan of the Forgotten Realms. Not only is there a lot of fan generated material, but several of the authors and designers graciously check in from time to time to answer questions. Great group of people associated with the Realms.

Candlekeep.

Ok, take two ...

I added many of the suggestions and tried to organize a bit more. I think this is a pretty good list - any other sites that seem like they should be on here? In particular, are there any really good play by post or online game sites? I used to play in a really cool (although not D&D or even fantasy based) play by post game a few years back, but can't for the life of me find it now!

Thanks everyone ...

This is my favorite website for RPGs (apologies to Paizo #2 on my list):

http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/

If anyone heads here as a first timer, i'd suggest spending quality time browsing the website and the sticky threads. Moderators are very strict.

As ever,
