Otis Redding

I know you hate hippies, Shiny, but if you ever get a chance, there's a DVD of the Jimi Hendrix and Otis Redding performances at the Monterey International Pop Festival that's ABSOLUTELY KILLER! I don't know how you feel about Hendrix (I love him), but the Otis show alone is worth the price of the box set--although you would probably only want to rent the Otis disc

I'm actually more a fan of Otis than I am of Jimi, though both are damn good.

It is indeed Australia.

Spoiler:
In fact, the street shot at 1:51 is about half a block from where I work (you’re seeing a shot of Broadway, Sydney, looking city-bound from probably just past the corner of Mountain Street. The big, boxy brown building in the top centre of the shot is part of the old Carlton Brewery, which was demolished a year or two ago, but the tall chimney (also part of the brewery) is still there, as is the church spire that looks like its next to it (actually a block away and no longer a church, now part of the Sydney campus of Notre Dame University). The Mitsubishi car yard just underneath the spire is now a car wash, and the tree and building at the extreme right of the shot (blink and you miss them) are still there, though the tree is bigger (I catch a bus home from that spot most days).
