Dragon Magazine #353 stated in #354 there will be 6 modrons presented.
My article request is can you guys post the stats for the rest of the modrons sometime soon afterwards? Or, better yet, we haven't had a Dragon Magazine web enhancement in awhile, since the Hordelands magazine, will it be considered for you guys at Dragon to release a web enhancement with the other half of the modrons?
It'd be much appreciated. Having access to the whole race would help with a lot of things, especially campaign arcs. :D

I already let them know, but if they are looking for an author for this, I know an interested one. ;)
That being said, the remaining ones would probably take an article at least as long as the one I handed in (which was just over 9000 words and probably too long to be published as is). It could be a bit shorter if it was nothing but stats, but where's the fun in that? :) Also, with how swamped they seem to be with work, I don't know if they would have time for a web enhancement like that. But you never know. I'd love to see one, too, whether I had a hand in it or not. If they wanted to see the rest of the modrons written up (and they actually used my versions in #354), I'd do the rest in a heartbeat. I love the guys.
Not sure it would really help with your campaign, but a fun idea I had while working on my draft of the article was to write up a Savage Species-style monster class for modrons, where you start off as a monodrone at level 1 and as you advance in levels, you advance in modron ranks. Once I get my hands on #354 and see the final stats they used, I'll see what I can work up and post here at Paizo somewhere just for kicks.

I'd rather have the stats, only because it would simply be an extension of what you already wrote, I assume. I would be very surprised if they did a "Modrons Part 2" in a future issue, but a WE sounds easier for them. Unless the modron article makes it off as a huge hit with both fans and newbies to the game who fall in love with them, too.
Only time will tell. :D

DANG! and i almost felt guilty turning in the good archomentals at 6638. ;)
hope that doesn't mean *too* many cuts for yours...

Well, Jason did say "let's say 5000 but see what happens" and didn't suggest many cuts from the outline. Plus between that ok, and the time to turn in the draft, MM4 came out with the longer monster write ups, so I blame all those factors, of course, and not my writing ability. ;)
I'd just be excited if it really is my article and not just a typo in the preview (a couple regular contributors did mention having to write some requested articles under a real deadline crunch...not that I'm paranoid or anything ;) ).

yeah, we recently turned in... something else where we started with just over 7000, and had to redo it for MM4 format (plus other things) and added about 1500 words. we had originally asked how much wordcount we were allowed, and the answer we got was basically "whatever it takes to get the job done" - wow! again, hope that doesn't get cut much. :) (OK, 8500 to your 9000, maybe that's not a big difference!)

I just finally got to read the Tertian modron in Dungeon #144 and I have to say I love what they did.
Construct (Extraplanar, Lawful) creature type, which would really screw their skill points and hit points, but they greatly increased the tertian's HD to 26 and Intelligence is 30 to make up for this. Damage reduction 15/adamantine and chaotic and they gave them "fixed initiative", similar to what they had back in 2E.
They're much closer in design to inevitables, which I like and agree with very much. I am guessing that #354's modron designs are going to be similar to this and that just leaves the other 7 modrons to be statted out...
I really would like to know if there's any chance the rest of the modrons will be done? I want to start a campaign around modrons so bad, this has got me pumped! :D
Please Dragon Staff! Consider the WE for the other half of the modrons! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
Or my ideas for my modron campaign...are...doomed :'(

Dragon editors and their cryptic responses...don't tease us! :'(
You know, I remember way back when you guys sold Web Enhancements for an issue or two of I think either Dragon or Dungeon, not sure which.
Maybe a conversion of the Hierarch Modrons for sale on your site for like $3 or $4 would help make it easier to consider?

There will be no web enhancement for this issue, because there wasn't any cut material of significance. We knew about how much space we had to give to the modrons, and got an article of about that size.
I'd like to see the rest of the modrons too, but I'd prefer to see them in the magazine. We'll see if we can pull that off.
But a free web enhancement with that many creatures isn't going to happen, and our license doesn't allow us to charge for a web enhancement of this nature, so what Mike is trying to say when he suggests that you not hold your breath is that there is not a web enhancement forthcoming.
We'll see about an article, though.

Aww total bummer. Guess my dreams of a modron campaign will have to hold off for some time.
Well, here's to patiently waiting for modrons in a future article!
My last question would be what are the order of events that would have to pass in order for a future modron article? The author, Ken Marable, has stated a few times he would gladly write an article presenting the Hierarch Modrons so you don't lack an author. I guess an open slot from a future issue would have to be available, I assume? I hope it's within the year, if so :D
