Miniature Market.com FREEMINI offer

Dragon Magazine General Discussion

I tried to take advantage of the offer from Miniature Market.com from page 59 of Dragon issue 346.

The offer is for one free miniature of up to $3.99.

When I entered the code from the ad, it came up as $2.99 off my order.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

================

Here's some other aspects of the offer:

1.) When ordering a metal mini, you can pick first class shipping or priority shipping. First class is much cheaper.

However when ordering multiple minis (at least the plastic D&D minis), you ONLY have priority shipping come up.

2.) The ad offers one free mini priced at SRP (suggested retail price) of $3.99. Are the prices offered on their site SRP to THEM or is SRP the retail price, not their discounted price?

Got a reply from the owner of Miniature Market.com.

$3.99 is the suggested retail price.

Since he offers minis at 25% off, that means you are getting one of the miniatures he offers for $2.99 on his site for free.

I gleefully took advantage of them as soon as I read thru their ad in Dragon! Figured out pretty quick what their offer was - SRP is the Suggested Retail Price, not the store's price (I do this as a salesman on a regular basis - showing clients the MSRP and showing them my sale-price so they can see how mnuch they are saving). So, yeah, effectively, you get a single character-style mini for free.

I ordered 6 or 7...
:D

Ok, I actually ordered 8.

They arrived today, looking fresh off a game-store shelf! So, I ordered late Thursday night and they arrived in Monday's mail. I'll be ordering from them again, for sure...

Liberty's Edge

I just ordered a War of the Dragon Queen pack. Couldn't beat the price. Even better than Amazon.com.

It seems like a good site (though the guy's grammar could use some work).
