Age of Worms Adventure Path

I was just wondering what other published material either from Dungeon or other sources DMs are using with Age of Worms. For example, other threads have mentioned that "Devil Box" (#109)could easily be connected to The Emporium in Diamond Lake as could "The Menagerie" (#126) I imagine. Someone suggested connecting "The Styes" (#121) with the Free City Docks investigated in HoHR.

I recently got a copy of 1st ed. Baltron's Beacon (I-7)and was amazed how well it could fit in the AP b/n TFoE and EaBW with a little work. I'm going to drop the Vecna section of TFoE and send the FO and Theldrik to investigate the Beacon (relocated to Mistmarch) leaving a 'skeleton' crew (ha ha) of undead and cultists at the Temple of Hextor in a stand off with Grallak Kur. Theldrik's journal mentions that he and FO have gone to investigate the rumored worm zombies in the Mistmarsh which would lead the party to Baltron's Beacon where I'd replace the BB baddies in the Gatehouse and Manor with Theldrick, FO, and Co. Just switch the Vitriolus potions with Slow Worm potions and viola! BB already has angry lizardfolk, a son of kyuss in the crypt and mentions mated black dragons. there's even a teleportation pad that could connect to the Spire of Long Shadows for later use.
So I'm wondering if folks have any other suggestions for published material that screams to be used with AoW??

Sovereign Court

1. Heroes of Horror
2. The Speaker of Dreams
3. The Freeport Triolgy from Green Ronin
4. the Witchblade Triolgy From Privetteer(for Eberron fans only)

Just thought I'd say that I dont like the idea of mixing "the Styles" with the age of worms.

I used & altered "Cry Wolf" from #102(?) to "give" the party's ranger her wolf & the paladin his mount.

Curious as to why - I've been seriously thinking about avoiding the whole doppelganger situation, and the Styes looks like a good adventure.

Scarab Sages

I started AoW with Mad God's Key from Dungeon 114. It features the Cult of Vecna & a corrupted temple of Wee Jas in the Cairn Hills. It begins & ends in Greyhawk and is easy to connect to Diamond Lake.

I am running The Menagerie from issue #126 next weekend when my players first arrive in the Free City before starting the Hall of Harsh Reflections...

I ran a Murder in Oakbridge (I think... Eberron murder mystery) for the party on their way through Sharn to Blackwall Keep. It gave them some hooks back to Sharn. Also, some amusement... the cleric is a warforged (looking for the God of Warforged) and the Silver Flame cleric now thinks that he is the next Prophet to the Created Ones.

Fun times.

As for the doppleganger plot... I decided to have some fun with it. The 'gangers are going to accidentally grab the party sorceress... who is a changeling with Still, Silent, and a short range teleport. Instead of the annoying "backstabbing party member" plot, it'll give them some more information when she gets out of jail and decides to go investigating. It'll also let the character flex her Changeling muscles, which hasn't really been happening on camera.

That's a fine solution to the weak starting motivation.

I heard that there was a side trek that exists in the AOW on the journey between Blackwall Keep and The Free City. Does anyone have ayn info on that?

Our DM ran Salvage Operation at that point, with a mysterious chest that we had to deliver to Smenk. It fit in quite well.

I would recommend The Styes as a replacement for Hall of Harsh Reflections. It's a much better module. HoHR seems to be the weakest link in the Age of Worms so far.
