There is something I don't like at all about the resolution after the attack to the temple.It's the reaction from the city guards, from the city government.
They are going to look out what happened inside the temple.
I know that the government doesn't want to be revealed any important information. And that they will decide to pay Ike Iverson for all. He didn't follow her headmistress orders, and he paid some assasins to kill the party.
Is it right to say that the party is going to be excluded from this investigation?
Because... What was the motive to contract some assassins? Why did Ike want to kill them?
I'd like to know the answer that the government is going to give to my players.

Keep in mind that it was Vhalantru who ordered Ike to take care of the PC's. IIRC, at this point, the Lord Mayor is missing (not yet presumed dead), and Vhalantru is basically in control of the government.
In all likliehood, the official response from the government of Cauldron at this point would be something to the effect of "We are sorry for the circumstances, but at this point, our efforts are in the direction of finding the Lord Mayor. If we find him soon, we can turn our attentions to your problem."

since they REALLY hate Wee Jas, they also destroyed the pinnacle of the temple...
city guards (togheter with Skylar, who is a friend of the PC's) arrived and... what are they supposed to do?
arrest the PC's?
in the end, the PC's realized that Wee Jas sent assassins basing themselves on the riddle from Jenya (magic is the door, death is the key, or something like that) and also because they REALLY hate Wee Jas, and were just looking for an excuse to attack the Temple
of course, once they attacked the temple, they had more proof, but the guards know nothing of this!
only thing is, they showed the corpses of the gray render zombies to Skylar, telling him that "whomever uses undead must be evil!!!"... but it looks a bit lame as an explanation...
what do you suggest?
