New Spells

I was just woundering about any spells that people really liked and if they had any sort of new spell they would be willing to share with me.


Name: Store an Item

Material Component: Stoppable container
Description: This spell causes all items within the area of effect to shrink so that they may be put into a container. The container must be able to hold at least 1 cubic inch of matter. When cast, smoke surrounds the objects and sucks them into the container, which must then be closed. When reopened, all the items reappear. The Store spell must be recast to put the items back into the container. Only non-living objects can be affected. Disintegrating the container destroys all the items within. The items inside are held in stasis and re-appear exactly in the condition they were when the spell was cast. Some mages use this spell to pick up hot lava, fire, acid and then use the storage container as a missile weapon. However, for the storage container to break reliably, there is an inherent danger of breakage while being carried, making that a very risky practice. Putting Store an Item items into a bag of holding or any other extraplanar space has a 1% chance per hour of causing the item to disappear. Taking Store an item vials into an extraplanar space that can hold living objects only has a 1% chance per day of causing a failure. The odds are not cumulative. There is also a weight limit of 20lbs + 5lbs / level of the mage. Created by Bruce Campbell (not the actor)


Okay, I'm also going to add this simple spell created by my good friend Jim Rupel, who was murdered by his wife four years ago...she's serving life without parole. Jim was my one of my best friends and a great DM. Most of his PC's and major NPC's live on in my campaign so I can somehow give him some immortality. Rest in peace, brother.

Focus: none Description: Causes ground to erupt in fire, any creature caught in area must make REF save to take 1/2 damage. Spell does 1d4 pts of damage +1 pt/lvl, +10 maximum.
