New Pathfinder Player Companion is here!
We've thought the good thoughts, we've maintained the order, but now, let's break on through to the other side with Pathfinder Player Companion: Faiths of Corruption!
In this book, Asmodean clerics rub shoulders with Urgathoan plague carriers, while the savage followers of Lamashtu and Rovagug spread their own kind of corruption among the wilder places of Golarion. The nightmarish Zon-Kuthon and secretive Norgorber bury themselves among layers of civilized veneer, only revealing themselves at the last moment when it is far too late for redemption. Characters following these dark deities will receive new options, such as feats and traits, learn about hidden secrets, views towards other faiths, and where to find others of the faith.
Other deities such as Achaekek, the eight archdevils of Hell, the legions of demon lords, and the Four Horsemen of Abaddon are also detailed and new traits given for followers of those faiths. If madness intrigues you, the cosmic horrors known as the Great Old Ones are revealed (not in their entirety—you must have a bit of sanity to finish this tome), and organizations such as the Hellknights, Umbral Courts, and the White Witches of Irrisen are explored, if your character dares to appeal entrance into these infamous groups!
After Faiths of Purity and Faiths of Balance, you would think we'd be done with codes of behavior... Nope! After all, the forces of evil have their own champion, the alternate class we introduced in the Advanced Player's Guide: the antipaladin! Agents of chaos and cruelty, these skilled warriors of Calistria, Gorum, Norgorber, and others now have guidance to serve their deity in ever more heinous acts.
New spells will tempt even good casters with their usefulness, and unholy days will give the good guys a reason to stay in at night--or go looking for trouble where it starts!
