I was looking around the interwebz for a list of who gives the missions for each scenario.

However, my search turned up nothing.

So I went and put one together in the hope that someone else might garner some use from it.

Below is each legal scenario currently available to everyone (not including Specials or Exclusives) with the person who assigns the mission to the band of Pathfinders in each.

1/5

Ok, now we need consensus accents for GMs to use, so that Venture Captains will stick in the player's minds.

Aram Zey sounds like George Takei.
Amara Li sounds like Principal Li from Daria.
Adril Hestram OBVIOUSLY sounds like Hagrid.
Drandle Dreng sounds like Drunk Winston Churchill
Shiela Heimdarch sounds like Jackie O/Dr. Girlfriend (determined by table vote)
Grandmaster Torch sounds like Truman Capote
Osprey speaks in the Bat-growl

Any ideas for Kreighton Shaine or Ambrus Valsin?

I always thought Drandle Dreng was Shaggy from Scooby Doo...

1/5

Negative, Drenge is fat, old, taldan and foppish. Shaggy would make a good Kreighton, though.

I used to do Drenge with a super raspy voice, but ever since Paizo Con I play him as a super slow speaking southerner

Ambrus Valsin sounds like Sarge from Red vs Blue.

Aram Zey has always been Alan Rickman-esque when I run a game

... and thanks for a very useful list. When given the choice, I like to mix things up and introduce new voices (so long as they are appropriate) when I can so things don't get stale. So this is very helpful.

I'd thought Sheila Heidmarch would have made more intros, I suspect she will get lots of screen time in season four.

Season 3 looks like mostly Aram Zey and Amara Li which isn't a huge surprise given the content.

Shaggy aka Drandle Dreng, gets a lot of intros throughout, which makes a lot of sense given his role in the society.

im impressed it only took 4 posts to get Drendle Drang's name wrong spelling mistake intentional on my part :)

Considering it was spelled 2-3 different ways during Season 0 and he's the most hated VC to boot, it's no surprise he doesn't get any respect ;)

Also known as, "Oh, it's an emergency briefing at 2 am for an emergency mission the Society has known about for a week. It must be Declan Dreng!"

There's a reason I love that guy.

Nothing endears me to someone quite like being woken up in the middle of the night and sent to my likely death to gather up some little trinket.

Since I'm planning to run all the devil you know, I'm trying to give Hestia a bored, almost comtemptious tone.

Fluff text from Shipyard rats, with inflections and modifications

Spoiler:

“One of our own has been kidnapped. Pathfinder Cestis was taken just days ago from a relics auction in the Imperial Naval Shipyards, and we believe his dissapearance to be related to the six dozen or so kidnappings of the last several months. <pause>
Now that one of our own is missing, this has become a Society matter—something we’ll get to the bottom of.” (trying to emphasize that kidnapping of commoners isn't really an issue, but now it's something that will get her to act.)

“This is Nefti, the assistant to the biggest pain in my <pause> side, in Cassomir—an agent of the Aspis pronounced like 'donkey urine' Consortium named Kafar.
Kafar is also missing, taken from the same relics auction along with Pathfinder Cestis and a dozen other citizens of Cassomir. Nefti was at the auction, saw where a small group of the kidnapped victims were taken, and his handlers in Cassomir have give us access to him so that he might guide us to our missing Pathfinder. If you happen to find Kafar alive...”<insert a sigh of contempt>“Let him go, unharmed, per the agreement I’ve just made with his superiors. Your priority is Cestis, and I think the boy can lead you to him. Any questions?”

From Cassomir's Locker

Spoiler:

<Make clear she's upset> “My friend, the Countess Arieta Patrizia,
is dead. She escaped her capture by the fiends who operate beneath Cassomir only to succumb to disease and wounds incured in Cassomir’s disgusting sewers. Ordinarily, this would be a matter for the Taldan authorities, but Arieta came to me directly after escaping and recounted a story that leads me to the natural conclusion that only the Pathfinder Society can resolve this issue.”<try to imply that she's not being objective, not even as objective as in Shipyard rats. This is personal.>

Basically I get the 'read' from her text that she knows there's a lot of crap going on in Cassomir, but as long as it doesn't directly affect her or her own, she doesn't care.

I personally play Drendle Dreng as Peter Falk (aka Columbo).

Sheila Heidmarch is Kathleen Turner.

Liberty's Edge 4/5 5/5

Drandle Dreng = an amalgam of Patrick Moore and Peter Snow

Shadow Lodge 4/5

Thanks for the bump. I like inflicting some of the Venture Captains on my players, and this will help a ton.

4/5

I try to play Adril Hestrom as Sean Connery's James Bond. Reading about him in Seekers of Secrets, he's too lecherous to be Hagrid.

Drandle Dreng seems to obviously be Professor Farnsworthy from Futurama.

"Good news, everyone! I'm sending you on a routine mission. A dangerous routine mission."

Yep. He's Farnsworth.

Lantern Lodge 5/5 *

I've done Sheila Heidmarch as Dr. Girlfriend (the scenario text said in a deep voice!).

I've done Kreighton Shane as Michael Jackson ala Tim Meadows (from Saturday Day Night).

SHouldn't that be Osprey? And I think he is actually mentioned as Seeker during the GM info on that scenario...
