I've been wanting a bunyip miniature. It is like an evil seal. The shape is okay but the paint job is a mess. The bite marks on its side were a cool idea but are lost on the actual miniature.

Solid mini for a common.

The good:
Sculpt, bitemarks, coloration.

The bad:
The pose is a little awkward.

The ugly:
You get too many (4-5) at common rarity.

Glad to at least have a Bunyip

Paint Quality: Average
Comment: Opportunities to provide more detail to tail and on the back were lost. A situation where the black base doesn't serve the mini well. As a unique creature that comes up in several adventures, it deserved better. We're unlikely to see another.
Recommendation: Consider It

Well .. it's a bunyip. The problem is, other than being a bunyip, it is a mass of browns that all blend into an unpleasant melting chocolate blob when you look at it, with minimal distinction of any other features. I'll give it points for the little raised points on the back, but really it looks like a deformed cockroach -- and not in a good way. If you need a bunyip, here you go. Otherwise I wouldn't get it just on looks alone. Not a good mini I'm afraid.

Its represents what its supposed to depict, a Bunyip. I know there was a ground swell of people that wanted this mini and I'm all for minis of more unusual creatures but...got 5 or so of this in my case. Not really impressed. Functional for those rare events you need the mini otherwise, useless. (one of my least favorite minis in this set)
