Treasure and danger lie hidden in the dark corners of the world! From secret fountains to lonely crypts, Flip-Mat: Dungeon is a perfect set-piece for any adventure, featuring a host of classic adventuring staples and brand new subterranean dangers!
The most-popular Pathfinder Flip-Mats in history return! These fan-favorite maps feature versatile adventure settings—city streets, forests, ships, taverns, and more—and now they're back for a repeat performance. Durable and lavishly detailed, these essential adventure set pieces are sure to bring excitement to your game table for years to come!
A special coating on each Flip-Mat allows you to use wet erase, dry erase, AND permanent markers with ease! Removing permanent ink is easy—simply trace over any permanent mark with a dry erase marker, wait 10 seconds, then wipe off both marks with a dry cloth or paper towel. Each Flip-Mat measures 24" x 30" unfolded, and 8" x 10" folded.
I've played through a couple of scenarios using the Dungeon flip-mat now, and I'm very happy with it. There's a wide variety of rooms that allow for almost anything a GM might need: long hallways, fountains, pits, rooms with multiple levels, a small maze, crypts, statues, and more. It's also, if you look closely, incredibly detailed with cobwebs in the corners, cracks in the floor, mystical glyphs near some kind of artefact, etc. The color palette is dark to fit with a dungeon-delve theme, but the grid-lines are easy to see and there's a good use of the available space. The foldable, wet & dry erase nature of the mat makes it easy to use. When it comes to a classic dungeon crawl, this one is hard to beat.
Announced for October! All text and images are final.
So the 8 reprints have sold well enough to warrant more - that´s great!
I bought 7 of the 8 reprints i did not have.
Can you tell us how many and which ones are reprinted?
It would be best to do that in the Paizo Blog section on the starting page where most people see it but you know that of course and it will probably happen soon.
Is the Crypt of the Everflame adventure being reprinted as well? That would be the reason this flip-map sold so well in the first place. Without that adventure, this map won't do nearly as well as it did the first time around.
The other seven flip-mats are pretty generic "outdoor" or "anytown location" variety of maps. They sold that well because they are so versatile. Look through the sold out maps and you will mostly see stuff that has a generic quality that is easily adapted to anything GMs run regularly. Even the Prison map has a blank outdoor field/hillside on the reverse.
This will be the only one I am not ordering from my distributor. Once the adventure was no longer available it was hard to sell the last couple copies of this map that we had.
PS - I expect that the answer to my question is "no." I would love it to be "yes." The sales that module generated were fantastic (new players and new GMs getting the Core book, GMs getting this map, and looking for the minis that went with the dungeon - we sell singles). I hope Paizo is exploring the option of reprinting classic 1st level adventures.

Sorry—the only reason Flip-Mat Classics are viable as reprints is that we've got a very low MOQ (minimum order quantity) from our printer. The MOQ for a book is too high to justify—we'd probably sell only a few percent of a minimum order right away, and the rest would sit in our warehouse taking up space (and costing us cash) for years.

That's too bad. "Everflame" would make for the perfect evergreen intro module.
