2/5

I like what WizKids tried to do with the flying kick pose but unfortunately, now the figure is forever stuck in the air. It makes the figure very awkward for any kind of non-combat situation. "Hey Cesseer, why don't you come down for awhile?" "No! I want to fly!"

The sculpt and colors are strange too. I'm not a fan of the maroon body wraps. Also, this is not really a negative of the miniature but Triaxians' alien anatomy make them difficult to categorize. It is sort of cat-like; sort of monkey-like; not quite either. It makes this figure's re-usability outside of the Reign of Winter adventure path very low.

The mini is decent but the pose ruins it.

With one leg standing on the ground and the other kicking i would have given it 3 stars.

Flying Kick Extreme

1/5

While I do understand the trend toward trying to make sculpts dynamic, this figure takes it to such an extreme that it fails in my mind. The pose makes the figure seem to be hovering in the air, flying around. I get they were going for a kick pose but it missed the mark in my opinion. I dumped all of them that I received because I disliked the "hover-monk" look so much.
