You may have reams of paper monsters to menace your fantasy world, but where are the heroes?

Battle! Studio Paper Minis: Gnome Adventurers is a collection of 20 easy-to-build paper gaming miniatures, featuring a variety of gnomish heroes! Befitting the whimsical, capricious nature of these fey fellows, there are a number of unique and colorful characters to inspire players and game masters alike with new ideas.

Each paper mini comes in two different color variations, as well as a line-art only version, so that you can color them yourself if you so desire. Provided as a high quality 300 DPI PDF and scaled at the 1 inch to 5 feet scale used by the world’s most popular fantasy role playing games, they are drawn with just enough detail that all the elements of their design are visible, even when printed and standing an inch high.

As a player, you can use them as you would a sculpted miniature, finding one that best represents your character and coloring it to match—or you could peruse the minis and find one you like, using it as inspiration for a new character. As a GM, you instantly have a large cast of visually unique NPCs that your players will recognize on sight—even if they don’t remember their names! For more fun, you can assign miniatures to your players randomly and have them build characters around whichever ones they end up with!

At about 7 cents a mini, this is a value you should be physically incapable of missing out on! Download your copy today!

Tim + Gnomes = WIN!

5/5

Tim's style fits Pathfinder Gnomes perfectly! Good Gnome figures are always hard to find. Many of them will work as 1/2 lings as well.

While not all the hair is day glow and there is an unfortunate lack of silly hats the price keeps this at a firm 5 stars!

Gnomes Gnomes Gnomes Yay!

5/5

Battle Studios is back with more minis. And this time we get something we've rarely seen in the paper mini world: Gnomes!

There are silly gnomes, action pose gnomes, feral gnomes, and even heroic gnomes.

As always, you get three different versions of each pose: two in different color schemes and one in black and white for you to color yourself.

The artwork fits well with B!S's other sets and also looks good with the Pathfinder Paper Minis...

I'm a little prejudiced...

4/5

I must preface this review: I hate gnomes, with a fiery passion that would sear a dragon's gullet.

However, Tim has managed to make all but one of these gnomes seem a lot more like little heroes and less like Looney Toons. The 'roaming gnome' (or David...?) is the exception, but I like him for his comedic value. ("Am I going to die...?") My favorite is probably the knife thrower, followed closely by the wide-brimmed hat wearing archer.

There's a lot of variety here, and all in the same quality we expect from Battle! Studio. It's hard to beat the value with these minis. Four out of five, though admittedly, it's my dislike of gnomes bringing it down.

Paizo made gnomes cool. You just made them cooler. I love some of these minis!

(After the hippie dwarf, I expect at least one silly mini per set, but the set is still awsome!)

Keep up the good work. I hope to get some assembled this month. I'll post online.

The beatnick dwarf is my favorite from that set!
