Having just finished running a Serpents Skull campaign, I wanted to thank you for the great paper minis. It was good having just the right minis for each encounter. They look great, and worked a treat.
25 pages of nicely done minis, ok 24 as there is a cover page, many animals are reusable in other adventures and would be superb for druids' animal companions. Many, if not all, of the key NPCs are depicted. I collect plastic minis and prefer to use those, but this inexpensive .pdf offering is superb for filling in the gaps for the NPCs from the AP. I wish all the AP modules had accompanying Paper Mini books. These are very close to the 'must have' category if you use battle mats and minis in your gaming sessions.
Again this artist puts out polished work. His monsters make my players happy every time they sit down at the table. For me its all about the consistent art style of each piece.
This set is great for PFS also, since it contains a lot of animals (particularily monkeys) and tribes people, which you'll be using in various scenarios (especially Rescue on Azlant Ridge).
Yesterday I just finished cutting, basing on washers, and clear coating the smuggler’s shiv set. Guess my prep is never done.
So stoked! The 1st set was great work.
150 minis. $5.99. ($10 for washers and a can of clear coat if you want) best way to pad out your mini collection AND get exactly what you need for the AP. Please please please make paper minis for the rest of serpent’s skull.
Just noticed this... We are about to move into this book in the AP so the timing couldn't have been better. Purchasing now.
These are such a good deal for the price. The visual adds a lot to the game table and is much softer on the wallet than a plastic/metal mini.
I buy a ton of plastic minis but these are great to fill in the gaps on key NPCs and unique monsters. Hope you do the rest of the AP too! There are some unique bad guys later on that would be well deserving of a special figure.
will we see a huge or gargantuan paper mini later in the line, or is that something you plan on staying away from?
There are already several of those in the Rise of the Runelords sets, particularly in the Fortress of the Stone Giants and Spires of Xin-Shalast sets. So it's certainly possible! My guess is that it would depend on the size of the monsters in the adventure.

Thanks Tamago! Also, the Runelords Bestiary set had some too.

There are two smalls issue about this set: the paper mini for Dargan Etters bears the name of General Rotilius Havelar", while the mini intended for the General bears Etters's name. However, the character pictured in that mini is in fact Eando Kline as he is pictured on the cover of "The Thousand Fangs Below". The fifth faction leader did not receive his own artwork unfortunately. There is a similar issue about the General in the paper minis set for "The City of Seven Spears", too, leaving out the confusion about Etters, though.

Is an update planned that will correct these small flaws?
Thanks, Zaister, for pointing that out. It will save me some head scratching when I print these guys.
