Greater Mercy and Extra Mercy

Rules Questions

Greater Mercy Feat
Prerequisites: Cha 13, lay on hands class feature, mercy class feature.

Benefit: When you use your lay on hands ability and the target of that ability does not have any conditions your mercies can remove, it instead heals an additional +1d6 points of damage

Extra Mercy Feat

Prerequisites: Lay on hands class feature, mercy class feature.

Benefit: Select one additional mercy for which you qualify. When you use lay on hands to heal damage to one target, it also receives the additional effects of this mercy.

Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Its effects do not stack. Each time you take this feat, select a new mercy.

so the question is do you get 2d6 extra healing if you have 2 mercies that you do not have to remove?

"Not any conditions your mercies can remove" already covers multiple mercies, and it states you gain +1d6 healing in such cases. Although a creative idea, I don't believe this works.

i see what your saying if it said "a condition" having more than one condition to heal would make sense

All mercies are applied at once, when you lay on hands. All conditions are removed (if you have the relevant mercy) at once.

So Extra Mercy could be worded a little better, since it simply grants you an extra mercy, and doesn't change how the class ability work.
