I'm trying to buy the 'choose your own denomination' gift voucher for someone, but it keeps changing the value to $50.00 and giving me the message:
"Please note that the price of paizo.com Gift Certificate has changed from $131.95 to $50.00 since you placed it in your shopping cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product pages."
Can someone help me? I'm feeling a bit stupid. :(

What's the problem? You can buy a gift certificate in any denomination you like -- as long as it's $50.00. ;)

I guess I should just buy 2.639 of them.

Just wondering... Say I get a big tax refund. Could I buy a $500 gift certificate (for example) and apply it to my account. Then each month when my subscriptions ship, the amount can be deducted from my account until its gone?
I saw something that says "cannot be applied to subscriptions" so I'm assuming not. ?? If not why, what would be the difference?

You can now. It used to be you could not apply them to subscription orders.
Now, if you buy a gift certificate and redeem it, you can select a box on your subscriptions page to apply any store credit to your ongoing subscriptions first. I'm currently doing something like that for the next couple of months till the miniature case ships in Dec/Jan.

I was wondering. Could a Game Store have an account so that they could purchase Gift Certificates? I think a s store, to be able to be on par with the subscription model of giving a PDF with the purchase could include a $10 Certificate with each purchase.
We even have a retail locator which stores can sign up for to help people find their stores.
If a store wanted to purchase gift certificates or even gift customers PDFs they are more than welcome to, keeping in mind that gift certificates and gifted PDFs do require the recipient to have a paizo.com account.
