These must be really heavy - can't afford the shipping cost... Please bring some ogres to genconUK!
Yeah I found this too - love the ogres, wanted to get them all, but as GeraintElberion mentioned - the postage on the four ended up being more than the minis themselves... [bah!]
What's the chance of some of these being for sale at GenCon UK [one of our group is going...] - I'm sure a few sacks of these brutes would constitute hand luggage :)
Failing that what's the chance of a special postage option for heavy miniatures [thinking that Stone Giants are next so things ain't gonna get any lighter... lol]

I preordered them with the former weight. Will the new price be applied when the order actually ships?

I poked your order to make sure that that's the case, and sent you a new confirmation e-mail.

Any idea when the preorders are gonna ship?
We've been told that Crocodile will be delivering us some stock at GenCon. I am assuming that we will be packing unsold stock back with us when we ship our stuff home from GenCon. So sometime towards the end of August would be my best guess.

Great to hear the miniatures have arrived and are ready to ship, are there going to be miniatures for the next adventure in the AP? Some giants and a Dragon maybe? ;)
Crocodile has decided that going through the APs one volume at a time is leaving them too far behind, so they'll be skipping around a bit in future waves. In the near future, expect to see Karzoug, the Scribbler, Seelah, and Ezren.

Thanks Sean, I ordered it up and received it today, and you are right, it is three pieces:
* body
* head
* right hand with staff
(left hand is part of the main figure).
I finally did get the pieces assembled (crossing my fingers that they hold) but it was definitely very difficult for me to get the glue to hold everything together on this figure, Hookmaw Kreeg, and the other two Pathfinder ogres. Has anyone else had difficulty in getting things to stick for these Crocodile minis? I don't recall having near this difficulty with most other metal minis that I have assembled over the years...and I mostly buy Reaper, so I am glad that you guys have switched over to using them.

I'm assuming you're not drilling and pinning... You might want to try buffing the appropriate areas with a fine-grit sandpaper before you superglue them.

Also, if it's a loose fit without glue, a thin glue isn't going to help it bind much because it's not getting a lot of surface contact. That's why most people use a two-part epoxy putty to fill in such things (if you wanted some cheap, you can get Mighty Putty from Target or a hardware store, three 4" tubes for $10). Or use a thick, expanding glue like Gorilla Glue (though you may have to hold pieces in place with rubber bands while it sets for 24 hours).

Yeah, for big metal minis, you almost have to use pinning and 2-part epoxy. Then probably some green stuff to fill in any left over gaps (Reaper is pretty good at putting the seams between parts in inconspicuous places so this isn't always necessary). The strength of a pinned and epoxy'd mini is better than the metal of the mini itself. I have dropped a dragon assembled this way and it's forearm broke in half while the wings, tail and shoulder held.
