Ok, here's another one:

Alchemist Discoveries wrote:

The following new discoveries can be taken by any alchemist who meets the prerequisites. Discoveries that modify bombs and are marked with a single asterisk (*) do not stack. Only one such discovery can be applied to an individual bomb.

So, for example, the Grease Bomb and Healing Bomb discoveries do not stack in any way. They are two distinct abilities with non-overlapping effects, yet they do not stack together.

(And don't try to argue that they count as the "same" ability since they're both Discoveries that use a bomb. Guess what... Haste and BoF are both spells which use spellcasting.)

If a grease bomb and healing bomb were used on the same bomb their effects would absolutely work together assuming they didn't give bonus to the same thing. The problem with bombs is you can't do a grease bomb and a healing bomb. Not because they don't stack, but because the rules specifically say you can't. "Only one such discovery can be applied to an individual bomb." means I can't do a grease or healing bomb together even if I wanted to regardless of stacking. I would also note that none of the other things thus far that reference stacking have had such an explicit restriction.

Without the line about not stacking you could stack the movement, extra attack, to hit, AC, and reflex save increases as they are all types that would legally stack otherwise. Additionally :

These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round. Blessing of fervor does not stack with haste.

There is no reason for the first line of the restrictions on blessing of fervor to list effects not being cumulative with haste if it can't stack with haste in any way.

Yes, the Leadership feat is fine for this campaign. Keep in mind, though, that you won't be custom-building your Cohort. You'll either take on one of the scenario NPCs as your cohort, or I will create and assign one that fits. All Cohorts will be built with the Heroic NPC stat array, and all additional followers will be built with the Basic NPC stat array.

Thanks for the quick response. Usually in the APs I've played cohorts have been pulled from existing NPCs so I have no problem with that.

Hello all. I'm the 2nd player Ari mentioned. Was going to post with an alias however when working on a build yesterday I ended up working on a couple of different ideas. I have the basis for a hunter, 2 paladins, a kineticist, duelist, slayer, and magus. Not sure what the others besides Ari is planning on running so don't know which class would work well with the others we would be having.

Also Pahlok, I read you reference and wanted to ask one question because I didn't see anything regarding it. Are you ok with the leadership feat? I only ask because one of the paladin builds goes into the sentinel prestige class and they get it automatically as a bonus feat in their progression.

Another question about the flesh golem. The only way I see to get it is the item that displays it. However none of the powers on the golem say they are usable while displayed, so how would one get it in their hand to use any of it's powers?
