It may include some from PF2, but as far as I can tell they are not planning on reprinting the ancestries released from other SF2 sources in Galactic Ancestries.
Other SF2 sources already available include:
Galaxy Guide:
Astrazoan
Contemplative
Dragonkin
Kalo
Sarcesian
Vlaka
Murder in Metal City:
Khizar
Guilt of the Grave World:
Elebrian
Corpse Folk (versatile heritage)

I live in Australia and would also prefer Mail Innovations. They are slower with no tracking, but half the price. $27 postage for a single AP volume is very ouchy.

I don't like the shorter scenario length for our particular set-up, but understand it for other time-constrained set-ups.
I don't like the removal of stat blocks, it seems to be a quality of life change we fought for that is now taken away, making things that bit harder (Hilary said it better).
But the 2-level bands, without the stuff that potentially makes it work for SFS2, is going to break things. We will now have hard brackets with no overlap. I am frequently having new players rock up to play at my venue (a good place to be), but this will make it a lot harder to wrangle and keep them wanting to come back.
I have two suggestions to potentially make it work:
One: like SFS2, allow characters to be created at 1, 3, 5 and 7. Yes, there are some downsides to this, but the 2-level bands mean the upside is greater.
Two: Look at how pregen credit can be applied. With treasure bundles making the gold easy to calculate, it should be possible to apply the credit to any character the level of the pregen or below, allowing people to advance into the next bracket.

The first meta-plot is technically 1.00 (3rd level pregens only). The first meta-plot you can play with your own character is 1.01.

One thing that I noticed, that I liked is that there is exactly 6 meta-plot 1-2 scenarios before the first 3-4, so I have two characters, one is just for the Meta-plot, and the other is more free roaming

This is a great idea. I fully support it. I have a number of players where sanctioning is part of the value of an adventure, so let's get them invested and playing!!

I think the AP change is broadly positive. But from a GM and organiser POV, the PFS2 changes are a step backwards.
I am ambivalent about the timing change as we don't have firm timing at our venue, but I dislike the loss of the appendices that we fought to include.
But the 1-2 level range, without the SFS2 changes that makes it work,is awful. Many people upthread have said it better, but I would ask whoever makes decisions on PFS to at least give the ability to make characters at 1, 3, 5 and 7 like SFS2.

The SFS one went from $9 to $6 when they changed the length and level range for SFS2, hopefully the same will happen here.

I can say this is straight out worse for me. I get everything I want from Paizo via my subscriptions (postage to Australia is just too expensive for me to want to go all in). So I lose my legacy 15% advantage for gold I will never spend.

Is the Panels going to also be recorded on Twitch, like in the past. I have watched them slightly lagged in the past (the keynote starts at 3am here), but I noticed that your Twitch channel is not showing anything after 2019, which makes me nervous.

Hi there,
I was just setting up some technology to watch next week's Paizo panels on Twitch, and noticed that no recent videos (after 2019) are showing on the twitch channel.
In previous years I have been able to go onto Twitch and watch the Panels with a bit of a lag (easier for the Australian timezone). Are the Paizocon panels going to be recorded on Twitch to watch, not live only?

I think this is a good example of what can go wrong with the new rule. For this one example we are looking at one team that will be playing it at night and fatigued, and the other end they are not fatigued, and in the day. It would be a very different experience.

They still need the minimum table number (for example 3 for Blessings), but if you can get enough people together, it does not have to be at a con.

Just bumping this to see if we get more visibility. I love some of the older Quests, there are some absolute gems amongst them. And I cannot see a lot of difference between them and Bounties, which are infinitely repeatable.
It also reduces one level of complexity with what is and isn't repeatable.

SFS experience is a level for every 3xp played so the +1 refers to that calculation. You would need 12 normal scenarios to get to 5th level.
From the Guide to Organised play for Starfinder: Levelling Up
Each time you play an adventure, your character will receive experience points (XP). Typically, you gain 1 XP for completing a Starfinder Society scenario or 3 XP for completing an Adventure Path. Characters advance 1 level for every 3 XP they earn.
