Hello! Just wondering if anyone has tried to run this AP as a non-mythic campaign. I think the story behind the AP is cool. I have always been into "planar themed" stories. But stories of the power level worry me. So, just wondering if anyone has given the non-mythic thing a shot. thanks Peace Roger

Hi! While I have no books in front of me at the present (to crunch the numbers), off the top of my head, I'd say you're correct. It would seem to me that this party would be able to handle a CR 16 encounter. Peace Roger
Hi! I'm getting ready to run the first episode of this AP. I toyed with the idea of running shackled city, but decided on this AP instead. I'll be using Greyhawk as the gaming world. All players are experienced old farts (we are all between 36-45 and have been gaming for longer than we like to admit (27 years in my case, since I was 13). Anyway, characters will consist of: Lizardman Barbarian
and an occasional appearance by a dwarf fighter. I’ll be adding a lot of horror aspects to the AP to add the feel of impending doom (we’re big Call of Cthulhu players) to the storyline. Should be interesting (at least I hope so anyway)..... Peace Roger |
