This product is clearly a joke, but let's look at it from a practical perspective:

Do you know how many times I've written ideas, notes, and more in spiral-bound notebooks, only for them to get accidentally crumpled (or worse, crushed) when I'm loading my backpack after a session?
And even nicer, hardcover journals - those are rarely the same dimensions as the other books on my bookshelf, making them stick out (or rather, being smaller, they get pushed back and hidden) when displayed alongside the other campaign books.
This notebook will be perfect for all sorts of stuff! (That is, if I can ever convince myself to use it...)
In other words, this is the best, *practical* joke I've seen in quite some time.

So you're saying this product really fills a GAP?

The 1e iconics are not lost to us. They have simply moved on to other ventures. I'm sure we'll see them again. For now, it's not goodbye, but good journey.

Thanks for your patience. Part 6 has been completed and uploaded to Paizo. It should be available within the next week or so.

Tree Feather Tokens are an inexpensive and fun way to solve that problem. Plop one in a safe area outside the dungeon and drop another when you need to skedaddle.*

Thanks, Rick!

And good catch, Zaister. I'll fix the error and submit the revised version soon.

Liz got me my first steady art gig in the industry, something that I'm still doing 5 years later. That paper minis work helped open the door for many other projects. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have as fun and challenging a job as I do as a freelancer.

Thank you Liz, for giving me a chance to do what I love and for making these forums a great place to be.

I've never even considered asking the GM whether they want to track arrows or not. I just do. I don't see it as minutia, I consider it a valid concern of any archer. (Watching Age of Ultron yesterday I was worried about Hawkeye running out. He was carrying like 20 arrows, tops.) I've had some fun sessions where I've run out of arrows. It's a nice occasional complication that makes the game all the more entertaining.

But I agree that durable arrows are certainly the best way to go. It could even be fun to have to retrieve some during a prolonged fight so you can keep plucking away at the goblin horde.

You're familiar with Occam's Razor? The solution most simple is almost always the right one?

Well this falls under a similar thing I like to call Munchkin's War Razor. The solution most beneficial to the power gamer is almost always the wrong one.

Qinggong replacements:

Slow fall 20' -> barkskin
High Jump -> feather step
Slow fall 30' -> gaseous form
Slow fall 40' -> dragon's breath
Slow fall 50' -> restoration
...

Is that how replacing slow fall really works? I though you swapped it out once and it's gone.

Emerald Spire Paper Minis are now available.

Well it's official. These previews changed my mind on most of the new classes. Now instead of 2 or 3 new classes I'd like to try, there's 10 I have to play.

Thanks, Liz!

And thanks, Zaister. I think they're awesome too. Or super-duper. The translator couldn't decide.

Indeed! I had a lot of fun drawing some of the creatures for set 5. Definitely my favorite of the AP.

I've recently been making my own paper counters by using google images and copying them into word document at the sizes I need.

It worked very well for the falcon guard archers and their falcons plus the winter wolf Maugrim and the merrow troll bridge toll takers.

Prior to that I had been using mostly 4e counters from the Monster Vault and they had worked well but this way I can quickly get fairly specific appropriate looking ones to print out and then cut out at the game.

If it's specifically appropriate minis you're looking for, I highly recommend these:

Reign of Winter #1, Reign of Winter #2, Reign of Winter #3

(Then again, I'm biased.)

I added 18 townsfolk to this set. If you already purchased these minis, you should have received an email alerting you to the update. If not, or if you haven't purchased these yet (why not!?) then rest easy knowing that when you now download this set you have a whole town full of NPCs to torment, er, interact with in addition to all of the Snows of Summer encounters.
By Grabthar's Hammer...what a savings.

Woah, that's really cool! I knew there were a lot but I've never seen them all printed and assembled like that. They're sort of overwhelming. Thanks for sharing these photos!

I sent Liz the corrected file today. When it's available, those of you who have purchased this set should get an email letting you know of the update.

The names have been corrected and Havelar should no longer have an identity crisis now that he's got a new miniature all his own!

Wait. Nicolagresta Lougue. Wow. There's an amalgamation that thrills to no end yet terrifies beyond the capacity for all rational thought.

Death Kneel is what you call it when a character in a movie is mortally wounded, then falls to their knees (usually in slow motion), arms outstretched, with a look of either confusion or serenity on their face before falling over dead.

Looks like, as written, attacks with battle poi are regular attacks, not touch attacks. Seems they're treated as any other weapon but deal fire damage instead of regular damage. Piranha Strike should apply.

Hmm. A goblin with battle poi and the Burn! Burn! Burn! feat would be quite a terror.
