Likewise. Was fun to play evil. Now back to murderhoboing instead of simply murdering.

Zurnzal runs across the walkway to reach Zey. "Running from me, rabbit? I'm not done playing with you, yet."

Double move to reach Zey.

Don't suppose 322's dispel magic worked twice in a row? :P

Also, jerk for barely making that roll :P

I have GM'ed this before; the trick is to balance out Zey's arrogance with his ability to otherwise annihilate the party. More rewarding to off the guy after several rounds of sheer annoyance. Just wish the author was correct on what the tongues spell did :P

Yeah, the haste and telekinetic charge were vital, too. And having some acid to get a first wound on the jerk helped :P Now just need Joliyrn to somehow make this guy suffer some more!

I was mildly worried with our horrible start to combat, but nothing like teamwork and clutch rolls!

Keep those up, 322! Those will make or break the battle! Although I'm hoping his spell will fizzle ala angry half-orc hug :)

@Marnarious: I was on mobile when I posted last night and couldn't move myself on the map, but I should be where X is. I think Rataji understood and moved you appropriately. Plus side is that you got a flanking bonus, too, which is now moot since the GM announced your success :)

Grinning at the now surrounded Zey, Zurnzal smiles. "This is gonna feel good.", the half-orc moving to grab the Society wizard.

Move action to use my 2nd to last Martial Flexibility to gain Improved Grapple and Chokehold, which I can use next round if my grapple is successful :)

Grapple @ Zey: 1d20 + 13 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 13 + 1 + 2 = 20

My CMB is 13 for Grapple in case Zey tries to concentrate for a non-somatic spell to cast

15? Poo... can't Acrobatics that.

Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Zurnzal double moves up the stairs getting right in Zey's ugly, stupid face.

I'm going to Grapple Zey's stupid face if I can get there :P

Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Zurnzal's killer instincts heighten enough to resist the spell. Then the leader's spell of speed makes him even faster. He quickly prepares himself for a grappling mode and dashes in hold down the vile Pathfinder wizard.

Swift action Martial Flexibility for Improved Grapple. 2 MF left!

Grapple @ Zey: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 13 + 1 = 21

He is a wizard, that may still work.

Good thing I'm enjoying Zurnzal :P

I also really want to do this bit with Gazwyr, if it wouldn't be so 4th wall breaking.

"I hope you can do more to traps than just melting 'em down.", Zurnzal comments as their trapsmith is replaced with the dragon.

He then turns to 322 once more. "Just a minor konk on the head if you can spare a bit of healing magic."

1 CLW spell if you can spare one

Ready

Whoops, I did miss that... d'oh. Yeah, that won't impress the Aspis leaders to hear about that.

Zurnzal, shifts his feet, moving towards the sappy gunslinger and uses his musket to trip him!

Improved Trip @ Gunslinger: 1d20 + 13 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 13 + 2 = 26

Male Half-orc Brawler 6/Assassin 1 | AC 18 T 14 FF 15 | HP 35 /65 | F +8 R +10 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +11 | Knockout 1/1 | Martial Flexibility 1/6

Zurnzal shifts his feet, now in advantage to maintain his grapple properly and with greater effect.

Using a move action to use Martial Flexibility to gain Improved Grapple and Deadly Grappler to deal damage as if I was one size category larger.

Maintain Grapple -> Pin: 1d20 + 13 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 13 + 5 = 22

Assuming that will succeed

"How do you like that, honeybunch?", Zurnzal sarcastically asks as he uses his foot to push against the sorceress's back, both arms pulled back by the controlling half-orc.

I got it covered

"You take care of him.", Zurnzal delegating the gunslinger ' s defeat to Shohiraj as the half-orc goes around the table and grabs the caster. "Not doing that again!"

Grapple at caster, no Improved Grapple so I do provoke an AoO from the caster.

Grapple: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

Thanks! Not an optimal action, but man would that be demoralizing. Think I have another idea to run it in some more :)

For GM:

When I ran this, the party also made short work of these guys. The best part was when either 322 or Rataji used Murderous Command on the Gunslinger, who failed his save, and then one-shotted the sorceror with a crit to the face. It went down hill very fast from there :P

Male Half-orc Brawler 6/Assassin 1 | AC 18 T 14 FF 15 | HP 35 /65 | F +8 R +10 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +11 | Knockout 1/1 | Martial Flexibility 1/6

@GM: Does the gunslinger happen to have improved disarm? If not... AoO boot to the head!

AoO if allowed:

Boot to the head AoO: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
Damage on hit: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
]

Zurnzal then smiles cruely as he fires the gunslinger's own weapon at him point blank! Assuming silly gunslinger didn't arm himself with something.

Musket @ Gunslinger touch AC: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 9 - 4 = 19
Damage on hit: 1d12 ⇒ 9

Male Half-orc Brawler 6/Assassin 1 | AC 18 T 14 FF 15 | HP 35 /65 | F +8 R +10 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +11 | Knockout 1/1 | Martial Flexibility 1/6

Using my Slippers to get a normal round in the surprise round.

Zurnzal darts forward onto the otherside of the gunslinger. He quickly remembers a trick to grab an item and moves to take the gun away from his wounded target.

Not sure if the Gunslinger is armed or not. If armed, using Disarm; if not, using a steal Combat manueuver, which will be 2 lower.

Get gun @ Gunslinger: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31 +2 if it was a disarm

Nevermind, I have a gun.

Rats, was going to hope to close in, study one, then either go for a kill attack on the wizard or knockout the paladin or gunslinger.

In the round before Rataji casts his spell.

Zurnzal walks into the room, maintaining his Arminaldi disguise. "Then a couple of us should support you!", the disguised half-orc walking closer as he begins studying the gunslinger.

"Eh, lady 322, got anything to help take care of these bites?", Zurnzal asks, readjusting his disguise and trying to clean it of some of the blood.

"So we're looking for directions, right? Anything I can do to help?", the half-orc asks, glancing at the various tomes.

Heh, guess that blind squirrel found a not!

Zurnzal pulls out his shortsword after taking the strike. "Cheeky bugger, aren't you?", and stabs towards the confused lizard.

Short Sword @ Blind Blue lizard: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 + 2 = 26

When the party returns together, Zurnzal heads over to Shohiraj. "I do not know your methods yet, but I have intel leading that there are traps leading to Aram Zey's office and perhaps other doors in Skyreach. We should expect magical wards and glyphs, and an illusion on one of the bookshelves. I trust that you are prepared for these measures."
