Hi there, I was just setting up some technology to watch next week's Paizo panels on Twitch, and noticed that no recent videos (after 2019) are showing on the twitch channel. In previous years I have been able to go onto Twitch and watch the Panels with a bit of a lag (easier for the Australian timezone). Are the Paizocon panels going to be recorded on Twitch to watch, not live only?

We all know that the playtest starts at Gencon, but has there been any news as to the end date? I am the main organiser for a bunch of people that are excited to playtest, so starting to look at it. The standard class only playtests are two months, PF2 was four months. I am hoping for the four month timetable, but was wondering if it had been talked about somewhere.

So, I was looking at the Free RPG Day website, and although Free RPG Day is the 23 June, that is only in North America. The Free RPG Day for the rest of the world is a month later. What does this mean for the month of exclusiveness?
I looked for a thread on this scenario, but couldn't find one. So here it goes, a couple of questions: 1. There is commentary throughout the scenario that the AI taunting you is the same AI that has taunted the Society in other scenarios. I cannot not find any reference to this happening, but maybe my GMs didn't use it. Can someone point me towards what scenarios it happens in? 2. The Sigiled Overseer is described as a 15 foot tall humanoid Robot, but is statted as Colossal. Is the size right?
So, in the new guide the way schools work have changed, with you just choosing one school, not having 3 points to allocate, and an additional school has been added. How do we handle these changes for existing characters, especially those that have allocated points over multiple schools, or who like the new Generalist school better for their character?? I would suggest that everyone gets a re-choosing of their school before the character is next played...it is then locked in.

Hi there, Due to the issue with the VO drops of the Scenarios and Bounty this month, I ended up purchasing the first Bounty (just a timing issue). However when I purchased it, the subscription discount did not apply. I am not seeking any reimbursement or anything, just letting you know.
So, I want to play one character through each of the three arcs in the upcoming season/year. Is it possible to find out how many scenarios are involved in each of the arcs? I would hate to start play with a character, only to have it level out of the arc near the end...especially important with the high tier where I don't have a lot of characters in that tier.
As it says above, could consideration be given to making the Scoured Stars invasion multi-table repeatable in the same way that 2.00 the Fate of the Scoured God is repeatable. There was so much great content that you could easily play through a completely different path the second play through, and now people have higher level characters to make use of it. Pretty please...

Hi there,
Is it possible that Paizo could expedite approval of VTT assets at the moment?

Hi there, I had the following two orders in my sidecart waiting for my subscription, but when I saw the Skittermander pouches were in, I asked them to be posted immediately. But now they are just sitting in my cart, and the pouches are on backorder. Could you please reverse the two orders back to my sidecart and I will wait for them to come in a subscription mailing.

Hi there, I wish to cancel my Campaign Guide subscription after the Druma book. I will still be purchasing the books locally, but the move to hardcovers makes international postage untenable (the postage for hardcovers to Australia is normally about the cost of the book itself). My understanding is that the Player Companion subscription will automatically lapse when PF2 starts.
I am seeking some help. Is there any way to hand-over the event organiser to another person. I am involved in organising an event, but my VC created the event, as he needed to event code for Boon support. He has made me a delegated reporter, so that is sorted, but I would like to fill in the details of all the sessions etc, is there some way to do this?

So to report Doomsday Dawn play-throughs you add Doomsday Dawn to your event from the Event Page. I had then assumed that for each session you just report all of them against Doomsday Dawn. However, when you go to the event reporting drop-down, Doomsday Dawn becomes Doomsday Dawn, Part 1, the Lost Star. There does not seem to be any official way to report you have played through Part 2. For now, I am just reporting them against Part 1, but it is a little confusing.
I would like some consideration given to increasing the PTP awarded for playing the sections of Doomsday Dawn, as they take significantly longer to play through than standard scenarios. I would actually like to see the points doubled.

Hi there, I received an email with the confirmation of the shipping of the Playtest Preorder (#4782301) via Amazon, and understand it is delayed. In the thread concerning the delay, Vic mentioned two emails and the fact that the store credit had now been processed to the affected accounts. However, I have not received either notification emails concerning the delay, and have no $15 credit on my account. This has made me a bit nervous concerning the status of this order, could you please check that I am getting my playtest stuff sent to me. Thanks Sandie

I am a VA and have received the ACG scenario 5.1, Threads Unraveled in my downloads. However, when I try to open it it comes up as an unsupported file type. One of my fellow VAs has also tried to open it and gets the same message.
Hi there, I can see a situation where you play through Doomsday Dawn, and you are a PFS player, and your GM is not. In that situation, how do you report the scenario on both the sheet and on Paizo.com?? I think the sheet may be easy, just put NA in the GM # column, but will Paizo.com reporting allow for a blank GM?

So after listening to the banquet speeches (thanks for the recording, Paizo), I am now even more hyped for the Playtest. So hyped, in fact, that I wish to start doing a bit of scheduling of time. So as stated by Jason, the playtest will be in 7 stages (one for each scenario in Doomsday Dawn), the first will be for the three weeks after release and the others in two week blocks after that. So, by my calculations with the assumption to schedule changes on a Thursday, the schedule should look like this: Scenario 1 - 2 August to 23 August
And done Does that sound right??

Hi there, This is a small thing. I was looking up my GMs to see who was at what stars and what Novas, as we give out a small gift when they hit that milestone. I noticed that, although the stars turn up against their name on their user page, the Novas don't.
I would like to put forward a request for consideration. As multi table specials become no longer exclusive, ie after a year for most of them, would it be possible for for the table requirement to be reduced to three. After the initial glut of convention play in the first year, it is difficult to get five or six tables together to play some of the older specials, especially for smaller regions.
I just wanted to check with the rest of the collective that I have the available Race Boons for SFS straight in my head. Please correct me if I am wrong anywhere. 1. Con boons - can take the form of a random chance at a boon for the players or a confirmed boon for the GMs. Races rotated through mega-regions. 2. RSP Boons - GM Only, confirmed after 12 games. 3. Players' Boons - Players only, confirmed after 6 games. 4. Promotional Boons - given away during online events/interviews, currently Skittermanders. Have I missed anything?? By my calculations, the only people who miss out on a chance at a race boon is GMs of non-RSP sactioned games. Be nice if we could see something for them, maybe they can tick off the players boon.

I pre-ordered the Unpainted resin Minis from Ninja Division back at the beginning of September. At the time, the release date was mid-September. It is now the very end of October, and there seems to be a dearth of information about these figures. They do exist, there have been pictures of them in the wild. Do we have an ETA for these?? Happy with an indicative, weeks, months etc. I have also gone into the Kickstarter, so if the indicative date is May next year, I won't bother getting them as a separate order.

Hi there, I ordered one of the iconic Vesk Soldier resin Miniatures and two of the Iconic Ysoki Mechanic and drone in order 4489594. I have yet to receive these miniatures, and now when I look back at the order on the website it is appearing as blank. However, the email that was sent at the time of ordering shows the correct order. Could someone let me know what is happening with this order. Thanks
I noticed John posted the required maps up next to the Starfinder Scenarios, but as the quest series does not yet appear on the product pages, there is nothing for it. John, could we pretty please have a list of maps for the SFS quests, and if possible let us know if there are any custom maps. I have organised a game day to run the quests for the Sunday of Gencon, and if there are custom maps, I really do wish to get the series more than two days before I run it.

Don't forget Painful Stare! Tricks / Hypnotic stare / Spells / Quibble / Touch Treatments / Panache... Esh Kethar
Appearance:
A young man, or one that seems so, sits with a large grin. His appearance is very unsettling as half his face is covered in serpent-like scales but has an elven ear. The other part of his face has a long canine but appears completely human, even if his right eye is completely black with a white pupil. However, what is the most awkward is his hair who at first glance seem to be dreadlocks but are long human-like fingers.
The man bows with his head and smiles at each one of you, making wide gestures, as if he were really excited to be part of the adventure. Background:

Special Abilities
Deeds and Panache | 5/day:
Derring-Do (Ex): At 1st level, a swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point when she makes an Acrobatics, Climb, Escape Artist, Fly, Ride, or Swim check to roll 1d6 and add the result to the check. She can do this after she makes the check but before the result is revealed. If the result of the d6 roll is a natural 6, she rolls another 1d6 and adds it to the check. She can continue to do this as long as she rolls natural 6s, up to a number of times equal to her Dexterity modifier (minimum 1). Dodging Panache (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent attempts a melee attack against the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet; doing so grants the swashbuckler a dodge bonus to AC equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 0) against the triggering attack. This movement doesn’t negate the attack, which is still resolved as if the swashbuckler had not moved from the original square. This movement is not a 5-foot step; it provokes attacks of opportunity from creatures other than the one who triggered this deed. The swashbuckler can only perform this deed while wearing light or no armor, and while carrying no heavier than a light load. Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature’s result, the creature’s attack automatically misses. The swashbuckler must declare the use of this ability after the creature’s attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach. This deed's cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the number of panache points a deed costs.
Mesmerist Tricks (Su) | 6/day:
Tricks Known: False Flanker ; Mask Misery ; Break Stupor ------------------- A mesmerist can create hypnotic bonds with his allies, implanting magical suggestions in their minds that he can later activate. Each day, he can implant a number of these tricks equal to 1/2 his mesmerist level (minimum 1) plus his Charisma bonus (if any). He can have only one trick implanted at a given time, and implanting a new trick ends the previous one (the mesmerist still loses the use of this ability he spent on the previous trick). To implant a trick, the mesmerist must take a standard action and either touch a willing creature or implant the trick in himself. A creature can be the subject of only one mesmerist trick at a time. The mesmerist can activate the trick as a free action when a triggering condition is met (as defined in the trick’s description), even if it isn’t his turn. The subject must be within medium range (100 feet + 10 feet per level) for the mesmerist to trigger the trick. The mesmerist monitors for the trick’s triggering condition through a subtle telepathic connection, so he doesn’t need line of sight to trigger it—but anything that blocks telepathic contact prevents him from triggering tricks. An implanted trick lasts until the next time the mesmerist regains his spells. Once triggered, a trick is no longer implanted, and can’t be triggered again until the mesmerist implants the trick again. The duration of the effect caused by triggering a trick is either instantaneous or appears in the trick’s entry. The DC for any mesmerist trick or masterful trick that requires a saving throw or skill check is 10 + 1/2 the mesmerist’s level + the mesmerist’s Charisma modifier. The mesmerist knows one trick at 1st level, and learns another trick at 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter (to a maximum of 11 tricks at 20th level). Each daily use of mesmerist tricks can be used to implant any trick the mesmerist knows. Unless specifically noted in the mesmerist trick’s description, a mesmerist can’t choose a particular trick more than once.
Painful Stare (Su):
When an attack that deals damage hits the target of a mesmerist’s hypnotic stare, the mesmerist can cause the target to take an amount of additional damage equal to 1/2 the mesmerist’s class level (minimum 1). The mesmerist can use this ability as a free action, and can use it even if it isn’t his turn. If the mesmerist uses this ability to increase his own damage, the additional damage increases by 1d6 points for every 3 class levels the mesmerist possesses. This damage is precision damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit. A mesmerist can trigger this ability only once per round, but a single creature can take damage from multiple mesmerists’ painful stares in a round. Hypnotic Stare (Su):
A mesmerist can focus his stare on one creature within 30 feet as a swift action. That creature takes a –2 penalty on Will saving throws. This penalty changes to –3 at 8th level. A mesmerist can maintain his stare against only one opponent at a time; it remains in effect until the mesmerist stares at a new target, the opponent dies, the opponent moves farther than 30 feet away, or the mesmerist falls unconscious or dies. The mesmerist can remove the memory of his stare from the target’s mind; the creature doesn’t remember that it was affected (nor does it realize that it is currently being affected) unless the mesmerist allows it. The hypnotic stare is a psychic effect, and relies more on the mesmerist’s focus than the target’s perception of his stare. It can’t be avoided in the same ways a gaze attack can. The mesmerist can use this ability even while blinded, but must succeed at a DC 20 concentration check to do so. Staring at a creature requires the mesmerist’s focus, so if he uses a gaze attack or similar ability, he must target the subject of his hypnotic stare or voluntarily end the stare. The penalties from multiple mesmerists’ stares don’t stack, nor do they stack with penalties from witches’ evil eye hexes. This is a mind-affecting effect. Bold Stare (Su):
Bold Stares Known: Psychic Inception: The hypnotic stare and its penalty can affect creatures that are mindless or immune to mind-affecting effects (such as an undead or vermin). The mesmerist can also partially affect such a creature with his mind-affecting spells and abilities if it’s under the effect of his hypnotic stare; it gains a +2 bonus on its saving throw (if any), and if affected, it still has a 50% chance each round of ignoring the effect. Ignoring the effect doesn’t end the effect, but does allow the creature to act normally for that round. ------------------- At 3rd level and every 4 levels thereafter, a mesmerist’s hypnotic stare imposes a further effect upon its target. The mesmerist chooses one option each time he gains a new bold stare improvement, and the choice can’t be changed later. The mesmerist can’t choose the same bold stare improvement more than once unless otherwise noted. All of the mesmerist’s bold stare improvements affect the target as long as it is affected by the mesmerist’s hypnotic stare.
Touch Treatment (Su) | 7/day:
At 3rd level, the mesmerist can help allies shake off harmful conditions—especially those that affect their minds—by channeling psychic energy through his healing hands. He can use touch treatment a number of times per day equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier. Using the ability is a standard action (or a swift action if the mesmerist uses it on himself ), and the mesmerist must be able to touch his target. He can remove one condition from one target each time he uses this ability. At 3rd level, he can remove any condition on the minor conditions list. At 6th level, he can remove any condition on the minor or moderate conditions list, and at 10th level, he can remove any condition on the minor, moderate, or greater conditions list. Minor Conditions: Fascinated, shaken.
A 14th level, the mesmerist can instead expend one use of touch treatment to replicate the effects of break enchantment. This targets only one creature the mesmerist is touching and follows all other restrictions of touch treatment.
Passive
Maelstrom Resistance: Ganzi have acid resistance 5, electricity resistance 5, and sonic resistance 5, and gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against spells of the polymorph subschool. Consummate Liar: A mesmerist adds 1/2 his mesmerist level (minimum 1) as a bonus on all Bluff checks. In addition, the mesmerist qualifies for the Improved Feint and Greater Feint feats, even if he doesn’t have Combat Expertise or an Intelligence score of at least 13. He can also ignore Combat Expertise and an Intelligence score of 13 as prerequisites for other feats that require Improved Feint or Greater Feint. Towering Ego (Su): At 2nd level, a mesmerist gains a bonus equal to his Charisma bonus (minimum 0) on Will saving throws. If the mesmerist is under any effect that would prevent him from providing the emotional component of psychic spells (see page 144), he loses this bonus on saving throws. Statistics
