While it states in the class description that Oracles do not require a divine focus to cast spells, when it comes to channeling energy there is a unclear area. The description states, "You can channel positive energy like a cleric", and the description for channel in the cleric description has "A cleric must be able to present her holy symbol to use this ability."

So, does an oracle of life need a divine focus to channel energy or are they able to channel without a divine focus?

I am trying to wrap my head around an idea a friend had while theory crafting and was trying to find a way in a PFS legal way to tell him "NO!!"

When a shadowdancer progresses with their BAB to the point where they would get +6/+1, does that mean that their shadow companion ALSO gains a second attack to do STR drain? Does Haste or Blessing of Fervor stack with that?!

Our local lodge has a player that is playing a Drunken Master archetype for the monk class in PFS. He has acquired all supporting magical items to make infinite amounts of sake available to him. He is drinking-- in character-- GALLONS of sake during a scenario. In a recent session, he spent over 50 ki points LEGALLY in just one scenario- one dungeon. Since the Gamemaster Guide isn't listed as legal in the Additional Resources, is there are any other rules that are PFS cannon to impede this free flow of alcohol/drunken Ki?

There is some open-end verbage in the rules for alcohol consumption-

"Drunkenness
Just like drugs, alcohol can be abused and have significant negative effects. In general, a character can consume a number of alcoholic beverages equal to 1 plus double his Constitution modifier. Drinks consumed in excess of this total cause the character to become sickened for 1 hour per drink above this maximum. Particularly exotic or strong forms of alcohol might be treated as normal drugs. Those who regularly abuse alcohol might eventually develop a moderate addiction."

Question 1- is the 1+ (Con Mod *2) per hour or per day?

Question 2- is sake considered a "strong or exotic" form of alcohol?

Question 3- at what point does a Drunken Master start to cross the line into addiction rules (alcoholism)?

Silver Crusade

Currently in PFS, the only class allowed to wield firearms is the Gunslinger class. In the Advanced Class Guide Playtest, there is at least one class that has firearms mentioned in it. Is this a statement for those playing Pathfinder in general- or for the playtest, have the rules been amended to allow these classes to check for firearm balance as well?

I would love to have a Dev or PFS Rules God enlighten us with their wisdom on this one.

Thanks
